I have played the game, and I understand that you are supposed to be weak and bad at combat which fits into the game’s theme of 1,001 ways to die. I nearly missed the weight gain, but immediately identified when I found the hidden item.
The combat is tedious and you are required to complete an functionally impossible fight to get the old game item it for content(that isn’t yet implemented). In my opinion, the fight maybe shouldn’t be made possible, but instead implement a way to avoid the fight.
There are also two softlocks with the weird guy fight. First, if you lose(and probably with all fights), there are currently no ways to heal so you are stuck at 1 hp for the rest of the game, so all other fights are also impossible. If you win the fight, the door remains locked and you are stuck in the room. I confess that i cheated to both win the fight and get the game out of the locked room.
