ABOUT
A lonely candle suddenly inhabits a spirit: a beautiful and curvaceous woman. Stuck behind a locked door, she must find the key to unlock it.
With the ability to transform and slow down time, she uses her new body to escape the dangerous dungeon.
Layers of Bust creates a zen yet adrenaline-filled experience. RNG is constantly changing patterns and outcomes, so each time you play will be different. Slow down time and stay alive as you collect points and power-ups.
GAMEPLAY
Dodge moving pillars in this top-down, never-ending, grid-based movement experience. Watch out for the bottomless pit, collapsing ground, and secret enemies like cute ducks.
Things will start to speed up, so sometimes you gotta slow down, literally. Slow down time to survive seemingly impossible circumstances, and grab a variety of power-ups to get the upper hand.

Interesting little action game! I see the core game having a lot of possibilities. I think I definitely encountered at least one special wave…

I didn’t see anything happen when the candle meter filled up though, is that expected? I tried hitting various keys, but nothing else seemed to occur.
I also feel like my character got stuck sometimes moving, and I’m not sure what was blocking me. As the pillars generally just ding you for damage. It was bit confusing with the same colors being used to indicate the next tiles the pillars were going to vs. the tiles about to fall. Maybe the tiles could wiggle and darken a bit and have some other effect/indicator for the moving pillars?

The candle meter is an ability to slow time, helps to navigate through tough situations. It’s not on Itch yet and exclusive to Patreon, but will be included in the next version~

For the ‘stuck’ while moving, I added code to prevent her from moving into a spot that will damage her. So, she wont move if it means that you will hit a pillar or drop through the floor. But, I am adding extra code to the next update to help smooth things up. Like a brief delay before it cancels her movement. So even if she were about to walk into a pillar, it’ll still move her once it’s safe without having to press a button again.
I actually did have more sounds in the game, like when a tile was about to fall or collecting points. But, it got really annoying fast so I decided to remove them
Having dangerous tiles and tiles about to fall the same color is confusing. Maybe I can try making them different colors or something. I’ll see what I can do

Of course, it was a lot of fun to play! (Even outside of the adult content 
). Got tricky in a few spots with some of the RNG and getting trapped in a corner with waves coming and nowhere to run.
In the current itch version should any of the art on the right be changing during game play? I didn’t notice anything that seemed alluded too in the screenshots, but I think generally kept dying after half-a-dozen waves. That’s why I was a bit confused about the meter on the left, thinking when it filled she’d strip a bit or plump up or something…

So there are a few things stripped from the Itch version that are only available on Patreon, one of which is the nudity. (Her clothes start ripping off.) But fret not 
cause it’ll be coming to Itch soon too 
The 4 main things removed are the ability to slow down time, nudity, endless, and an extra health.
There will eventually be a Story Mode, Challenges, Upgrades, Outfits, etc. So new and exclusive content will be added with each update 
Right now Im working on 4 new areas to play in, story mode, and the main menu

Just gave this a try, it’s pretty fun. Difficult to a degree, but not unfair from what I’ve played.
I definitely think you should be able to move into damage zones though, since sometimes you can get trapped in a corner between two pillars and have to criss-cross between them to avoid damage. The current system just seems to say “no” and I get forced to take damage, which perhaps I could have avoided with better positioning, but allowing players that chance to avoid damage by taking a risk is worth it.
Other than that, loving what’s there so far, can’t wait to see what’s next.

No main menu? ROUGH. Took damage before I realized what was happening.
@ManOfEgg @eatfortwo You’ll be happy to know I just finished the main menu for the next update, and it’s probably my best main menu yet 
(coming soon)
There will also be settings for the next update too, one of them can turn off movement restrictions. I’m trying to find a way so the RNG can’t trap you in a corner * fingers crossed *
Anyways, the game is still in it’s Alpha stage so there’s a lot more content on its way. I use early versions to get feedback to improve the game, so thanks for sharing your thoughts about it

New update on Itch.
Resolved some issues from the comments like adding settings to switch off movement restrictions. A main menu has been added, along with new secret patterns (hush and ZAP), stages, improved game mechanics etc.
Nudity, endless, and the ability to slow down time has also been added.
