Looking for additional 3d modeler and more

Heya! This is a post for the new game that our team is currently working on. As said before, the previous version of the game had to be scrapped due to some issues with the theme as a whole, but we have a new idea that we are currently working on that is fairly similar, yet very different and more unique. While the lore of the game is still in progress, the game in general has been set in stone: a third-person hoard shooter with weight gain/inflation and infection mechanics.

Currently, we are looking for another 3D modeler to help our current one with character and enemy models, as well as anyone else who wishes to help out. This is volunteer work as of now, just making this game for the sake of making a fun game. Still looking for another modeler. No one else has DMed about it and we are still in need of one.

No offense but looking for a modeler without offering pay, especially a character modeler, is like looking for someone to volunteer to head into the Chernobyl exclusion zone.

Character modeling is rough. I’ve done it before. If you don’t offer pay then no one’s going to work on a game they aren’t particularly passionate about.

It is unfortunate but you only rarely get a game done off pure volunteer work. People have lives and most don’t want to work for free. The most you’re typically going to get is one programmer and one 2D artist, and good luck keeping your team together long enough to finish a project.
