Hello, I’m a new DnD player and really enjoy it so far. My group plays on the 2024 version so that is all that I know. After playing normal DnD with my friends I’ve really gotten into it and was wondering if there is a group here that hosts wg/expansion themed campaigns or maybe like a discord I could join to get to know other players. I’ll also pose a general question to people who have played kinky DnD. What’s it like playing DnD with kinks/fetishes involved?
It’s good, the only thing is not going too overboard with it, and to discuss with the GM and players like, limits and the like. I usually like to play games that have it as a side-focus, with the game still running as normal, so to speak. The few kink-focused ones I was in sorta died quickly due to issues.
I took a look at one of the rulebooks/module some people made. I think its called expanDnD? And that was cool. I like that some of the enemies have spells/moves that can make you gain weight. I could see how a kinky DnD could go bad really fast lmao.
Eeyup, haha. There is a discord I’m in, it’s not a guarantee you’ll get in, I’ll DM it to you though.
Thank you! I put in an application hopefully I get let in ![]()
Have you done a lot of campaigns with kink stuff in it?
A handful, more or less. In a few right now, too.
Sounds fun! I’ve been getting more involved in the kink communities I’m in. Slowly but surely haha
Not to distract from the OP’s comments, but I’m a little curious about your experiences with more than one person. I’ve GM’ed two in-person one-shots and an online one, but it’s hard to imagine doing it with more than one other person at the board. Are you doing D&D with bonus fetish content or starting with it? The ‘not overboard’ and things dying from that seem to suggest the former, but I’m still curious.
It’s always been like, a starting thing, on the tin, like the GM said ‘this is going to be a fat campaign’. Then sometimes someone might ask ‘Hey can we add this’ and it goes from there. With online campaigns, there’s more of a vetting process I think, so it’s easier to get folks who are on board with the stuff being added in. Besides, the ‘going overboard and dying’ bit seems to be more of an earlier experience I had - lately they’re more steady, and dying out is usually the normal reasons (scheduling issues, exhaustion, ect).
By adding in stuff do you mean people wanting to add in different kink themes or just adding content in general? Cuz if its the former I could see how that would get annoying if everyone wants to add their niche kink
