If you beat the boss of that area then you are done with the game for now.

I’m confused in the basement of the first in, I’ve ran around and lit all the old scrolls on fire (I think) but nothing happens. Is there something else I’m missing?

I believe it’s after you start getting access to the Slime Caves that weight gain during normal gameplay is introduced. When the characters eat a lot of food (ex: eating food items in your inventory, choosing to eat a meal at an inn, special attacks like Slime Ambush), eventually their weight increases to a higher stage (thin → pudgy → chubby → fat, etc).
Worth noting, however, that when a character’s weight increases, they usually lose a bit of firepower and a lot of speed, but they compensate with higher defenses and HP, and certain passages might not be accessible via higher weight stages.

Hey im having trouble with the chocolate box puzzle. I know that I need to open box number two, ten or twelve but I can’t seem to find the right one. Which order do I need to counter them in. (Like left to right or right to left from the bottom up.)

So I’m on the Marianne paralogue and I just can’t find what to do next. I tried reading through here to find what to do next but
I already talked with the mom in the building on the left side of the town being told about the 50k sir hart paid her after her child vanished but I’m not sure what to do now? I tried waiting until it got dark hanging out in his mansion, talked with different people, I found the grandma fetch quest chain I’ve tried getting on the ship. What am I supposed to do?
