Lysithea's Sweet Escapades Redux - A Weight Gain RPG based on Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Wanted to check because Idk if it was readressed, but has the Circe ending been fixed yet? I dont want to know what happens, but I was curious

I have no clue how or why, but it’s super duper bugged. I’ll try to ask someone to help with it.

Does Hilda’s event have same priority as characters in that scene? This would make it impossible for others to pass through her.

Can you return past this point in the sanctum in chapter 5 ?

Because my game won 't let me and the screen stays black.

Nah it’s worse than that. The characters spawn in random locations, I have no clue why, they aren’t supposed to be there.

You have to use the short cut back.

This shortcut is no longer accesible.
If it helps , I got the 2 guards either being ā€œlockedā€ in their own cell or guarding leonie scenarios. I ended up fighting them, while being friendly with leonie to them. So idk where I’m supposed to go and if those 2 are out somewhere in Prim.

They are yes. Explore around.

I was unaware that Hunger consumed your MP or Items, that’s a huge issue.

Okay, I’ll be blunt and honest. This game is one hell of a grind and a blast.

(Currently playing on one of the versions before any later fixes, so a few bugs were found but aren’t a full bother when gaming. Or at least to me.)

Story wise: Its flushed out really well with our four main characters getting development and still staying true to what they originally from. With some unique changes that really gives them more life.

Battles: Easy, fun, and once you know how to do combos/unlock more perks for each character, they are a breeze and I love that. The higher level you are, the easier the lower enemies are.

Weight Gain: Its perfect with the update. (At least as far as we can go) But I really do like some of the in joke moments that are sprinkled throughout each chapter. It really makes some cutscenes feel both funny, and if it doesn’t crash the game, makes it feel a little more special than it currently is. Having their speech represent how fat each girl is really hoses in that consistency.

Thoughts: In my opinion, (and it can be debated on) I feel like when the characters get to a larger weight; like fat or obese or bigger, the slob effects should be a little more shown than be only in cutscenes. Like, if characters are obese or larger, and are slightly over stuffed, then they should be somewhat more gassy. Burping or farting every so many steps till they either back under the limit or at starving.

(Again, these are my thoughts and not to bash the creator and their team or push them anywhere out or further from any comfort zone.)

But regardless, its still a blast with all the new content added.

I’m very, very glad to hear it. There is some food you can make to make the girls gassy if you want that as well.

It makes me happy to hear that you enjoyed the game thus far despite the bugs and the like.

I didn’t run into that, but I am using an older version.

Speaking of random locations, there are several maps were you see sprites of Lys and co. in inaccessible areas of said locations. It’s cosmetic, but still weird.
Pillow from bed in one of the earliest scenes of chapter 3 (or whichever comes after first interlude) overlaps with the top of Hilda’s head.
Tent can be revisited after completing it. Entering and leaving the dungeon triggers a visually broken version of the Hilda introduction scene. I haven’t revisited the tent after that to check if anything breaks for real if you do. This issue has been there in the version before November release.
Sometimes, a status with no icon and timer/stack at 0 appears on Lysithea. Resting seems to make it go away, but I’m not sure.

I would want that. Though I know you won’t give away anything if it involves the new stuff. Though hints are fine. (If you want to give hints out of course.)

And the bugs I’ve witness mostly are just visual ones. Like some obese faces of the characters aren’t always present during certain cutscene moments. And the staff for warning inevitable battles as stuck on screen. But gaming wise, everything is smooth running.

Do I have to solve the scale issue in proceeding with the story?

There are foods you can make that make the girls gassy?! Or is that something not implemented yet?

I haven’t played past chapter 1 yet, I want to wait till enough fixes are performed first before I can get back into my favorite RPGmaker game

I am pretty sure every single ending and event available to see in the gallery is messed up one way or another. From the ones I recall, some like ending 1 make your characters somehow get wall hacks, others like ending 2 and Marianne’s paralogue bad end give you a game over and thus don’t use the filter that removes the bleak dialogue, others disappear your characters, like Leonie’s paralogue bad end, many crash the game due to missing faces, like the slime queen and several of endings related to Marianne, and many, particularly the ones from Leonie’s paralogue onwards have the event not trigger properly and thus either make you get stuck on a loop or crash.

Honestly, I was at first having a better time with the game than with the Marianne update, as many encounters that felt overly difficult or tedious got toned down. With that said, the many bugs that started as early as the very first available battle not having music asigned to it and escalating by the time I got to Chapter 3 to being a genuine stain on a game that I otherwise enjoy started to make the game feel more tedious than fun or intriguing. I am certain this is not the case, but the sheer amount of bugs, missing files and errors makes it feel like the entire game wasn’t playtested.

Just among some examples of oversights that screwed me over and forced me to use save editors to fix issues, the variable that checks the weight of the party seems a bit broken, as there seems to be a point of no return that changes every single interaction as if your characters were obese no matter what, such as locking you out of shortcuts in the slime cave, the hunger bar being available in chapter 2 despite the weight gain mechanic not even being active yet makes some incredibly odd interactions thanks to the fact you do get food items that early, the devil fish disappeared despite me failing to catch it, softlocking the fishing sidequest, the drop rates of chimaera feathers seems to be way too low for it to be reasonable to get 5 for the Silver Axe sidequest, since I killed every NME encounter of them and four random encounters and only got two, while the missing files made me lose progress in the slime cave several times, making an already unintuitive dungeon without a guide that much more frustrating to navigate.

I don’t want to leave this here with the idea that I hate the game, because I don’t, the game has a lot of strong ideas that make it stand out among this very niche genre, but the sheer amount of technical, balance and sometimes design issues makes it much more frustrating than necessary. I am unsure how many of these issues have gotten fixes by now, as I played the very first version, but from what I can tell, the very broken sections from Leonie’s Paralogue onwards are still very unstable. I’d love to see the version of this game that is refined into a fun experience, because as it is… this ain’t it.

I had a similar problem. Reload your save before entering Prin for the first time, and go straight to were the kids are. DO NOT INTERACT WITH ANYTHING ELSE. If you reload the area before talking to Margaret, she will disappear and you will get soft locked.

Edit: I didn’t read the rest of the tread.

Here’s the not very funny thing about the missing assets crashes: it was all playtested. The problem is that when ā€œunusedā€ files were cleaned using software’s automated feature for the release, it got rid of many files that were used. Now they have to be hunted down.

regarding the variable about the party weight I think I read earlier in the thread about the carol event that the reason it doesn’t work is the variable only adds making it impossible for the parameters to comply with the code, no idea really how to fix that or if that’s still a issue but hope it helps

So guys, what’s the reward for giving cigarettes to innkeeper?
And about weapons - how can i buy more than one axe in second chapter? I tried grinding for some time to get decent stats and i already broke three axes for Hilda, i feel like weapons are much too finite (in second chapter you get 4 axes in total including one you start with)
