Magical Seed Garden

Without lust, humanity would die out
(And to keep the nagito train going, one of his lines WAS ā€œI’m not the crazy one here… The one who’s really crazy is-ā€ before getting cut off by Monokuma showing up)

Great talking to you, but we should probably stop it here. Gotta stay on topic. XD

I agree. All things in moderation, though. On that last bit, gotcha. I’ll keep things on-topic from here on out.

this may sound dumb but
it wont execute for me

@NotAnDodecapod

Are you using a Windows PC?

yes
its a windows 7
the dead one

Just on the off chance, do you have the JRE installed?

https://www.java.com/en/download/

nope but thank you soo much

nope still nope
but do you mean a download in java?
or just that?

Hmm. And you unpacked the .rar file properly?

i think yes?
well i did use the code on the file of the game
and open it
it showed the error message

ā€œOpenā€ it?

You need to extract the .rar archive with an archiving utility, such as 7zip (Download). Best is to install 7zip and then right-click the .rar archive and choose 7zip > Extract to ā€œfilename\ā€ so the files definitely end up contained in one folder. Then, run the .exe from there, or put a shortcut on your desktop.

thanks
but wanting to know is this game a 64 machine?

A… what? Are you asking if it’s 64 bit?

just wanting to make sure

I think so, I use 64 bit, and it worked fine for me.

oh welp im not 64 bit :frowning:

Man, even my grandpa’s 10-year old computer is 64 bit. Do yourself a favor and get something newer, even if it’s some used enterprise machine for $150 USD on Amazon.

WOW some pretty rude people here, there is no such thing as a modern 64 bit computer. You would need to find a computer from 1970. All @NotAnDodecapod was asking was if it was meant for a windows 10 home 64 system or the 32 system, in his case a windows 7 home 64 system. 64 or 32 should not matter much as I’ve downloaded both at times for games like this one and they both work fine on my laptop.

@NotAnDodecapod if you have extracted the main folder from the .zip folder and then tried to run the game and it still doesn’t’ work, then just wait for when a new version gets made from the creator

Wait, what? I think you have your facts well and truly back to front.

Almost all recent Windows machines are built on a 64bit architecture as a 32bit one will only be able to address 4Gb ram, which really isn’t sufficient for Windows 10 and barely adequate for 7. Intel’s last 32bit x86 dates from around 2006 I think. A 1970’s home machine would have been 16bit address, 8bit data for the most part; the 68000 (32bit) didn’t become available until 1979.

If you’ve a 32bit architecture, or a 32bit OS running on 64bit architecture, then a 64bit targeted game isn’t going to run at all - in the first case because the CPU won’t recognise the instructions, in the second because 64bit libraries won’t be available to link to.

Magical Seed Garden (which is no longer being developed by the creator - so there won’t be an update, though it seems a new, different 2.0 game is coming out sometime) is a 64bit game. The presence of UnityCrashHandler64.exe is a bit of a giveaway. Unity dropped their 32bit editor in 2016 so most Unity games target 64bit for home PCs.

If @NotAnDodecapod has a Windows 7 32bit as he seems to be saying, but a 64bit cpu (x64) then the short term solution is to install a 64bit version of Windows, but the chances are it may be 32bit because it has only 4Gb RAM, which may also be a problem. In short @SRP’s advice is valid (though not the best phrased) and an upgrade to a 64bit Windows 10 machine is the way forward. Assuming money is a factor, a second hand machine is going to be the best bet.

If I remember correctly there will be issues later down the line if you use a 64 bit program on a 32 bit system (I am unsure if it would cause problems if you ran a 32 bit program on a 64 bit system). Also have you even took the time to search for an of a computer from 1970?
