I have made an NES metroid fat mod for samus. Unfortunately I have no idea how to share it on the internet. Currently, it is only the suitless samus in the end credits. I might extend this further to the playable zero suit samus in the future, and hopefully by then someone has taught me how to make this widely available.

Wow this seems like a REALLY cool idea! Is this modded on the original NES? Amazing to see someone make fat mods for such an old game. Hope you can manage to upload the files, and maybe get it working on a PC version of the game? Regardless, wishing you all the best and good luck with this project. Even just this sprite is really nice and well done!

If you would redo the Kraid Sprite and make him really fat i would pay you Go get hhf Mod x3
it is my understanding that in order to share ROM mods, you would upload a file that can be used to patch a “totally legally obtained” copy of the game, without sharing a ROM yourself.
the process on how to create such a patch file is not in my knowledge, still, it was necessary to point this out.

I don’t mean this to be mean, I’m surprised you made a hack without knowing how they’re distributed. Recreating rom hacking from first principles is facinating

Anyway use this site and toggle on “Creator Mode”. (Or you can do it with a program like lunar IPS.) Then upload the patch, not the roms, on a site like Mega or Mediafire so you can give people a link to download it

Thank you for your help. here is now a download link to my metroid fat mod. ill make an official page in the mods section once i finish editing the in-gameplay ZSS sprites. Currently all it changes are the samus unclothing rewards for beating the game fast.
