Hello!
Been a lurker here for a while. My favourite games are SFRPG, Project F.A.T, Fatties Eating Fatties & GrowthRPG. If anyone has any recommendations like these please like them below.
The “Kaiju” ending of SFRPG lets you start normal sized. Gobbling up others on the streets getting bigger with every bite. You grow and grow, moving onto cars, becoming so massive even buildings are on the menu. Which leads me to the premise of the game idea.
The game would be a multiplayer 3rd/1st person sandbox with a city setting. Players could choose Pred or Prey and character customisation would be there as-well, with preds being able to choose where most of their weight gain would go. The map would be littered with stores and restaurants with food to grow from, aswell as labs and power plants for preds to break into and activate growth acceleration buffs in order to dwarf their opposition. Alongside these things there would of course be the vore-able npcs which would wander the map waiting to be eaten, in amongst them would be the “Prey” players.
The game starts with the preds characters testing some experimental solution in a lab and wandering out onto the street. Belly gurgling a speech bubble appears “You should eat something” The game begins. The preds must find food stores and start small. Rapidly growing themselves until they are able to vore people and working themselves up the food chain onto cars and buildings. This game will feature “Kaiju” like levels of fatness, on a city destroying scale.
Prey can win as a team, but only 1 pred can win. It is upto the winning pred to dwarf and devour their opposition.
Preds can win by either: Depleting all the preys lives or simply, filling the map.
The preys win by either: Escaping the map (difficult), or stopping the preds before they become too big too handle.
Preds can find stuff like more experimental serum from labs to give them growth boosts aswell as plutonium from power plants, but you have to be big enough to break through security!
While prey find things like shrink rays and other things to aid them.
I know this would be a lot of work, but I think it’s a great idea and I dunno why no one has done nothing like that yet. If enough people were on board it could be a group project and it would minimise the workload.
