how do you make songs work in rpg maker

the rpg make I am using is RPG Maker MZ
I don’t know the true reason, but, in RPG maker MZ , you have to put two versions of the song in the files, one in .ogg format and one in .m4a format or the the program won’t recognize it. If you only have a song but let’s say is only on the .ogg format, then you just need to make a copy of the song and use a program like audacity to convert it into m4a.
