Hiya! This is my first time talking here on this forum, so I’m not sure whether or not this is the right area to ask for this, but here it goes. I have an interesting idea for a fatfur/inflation zombie game, but I’m not the best at programming, art, music production, or…well, anything outside of writing and storybuilding. So, I was hoping to see if anyone is interested in my idea. I’ll post the doc for the concept here. Also, if I am putting this in the wrong place, let me know and I’ll happily delete this post and put it in the right area.
TL;DR, the idea I have is about a slime-like fungus creating sludge-filled zombies that only know to eat and eat and eat, leaving north and south america entirely abandoned, save for the remaining survivors left behind to fend for themselves. I’m hoping to go for a third person shooter or a Project Zomboid style game, but I’m open to other ideas. I’m mostly looking to join or create a game dev team that can help me make this a reality, I can even set up a gofundme or a kickstarter to fund the project. Just leave a comment below or DM me on Discord (Username: experiment108036062) if you are interested in the idea. I’m specifically looking for game designers, artists, music producers, and anyone else willing to help with the game’s creation.
I think a scratchy, gritty art style with bright warm colors would be a fun idea, something similar to a more upbeat Gorillaz art style, I think. Idk, its hard for me to think of the art style for this idea as…well, I never had to think of it till now. I’m open to suggestions on how it looks, but I just want to go for the vibe of “The world has ended, but that doesn’t mean we should feel sad”. It’s an apocalypse, but it’s an adventurous one rather than a depressing one, you know?
This sounds like a really interesting concept! If you’re still looking for an artist, I’d be down to draw up a few things. My schedule’s pretty busy at the moment, but I’ve been wanting to work on a fatty game for ages, so I’d like to take a stab at this if all works out.
