Just found an interesting Choux softlock- if playing on uncapped size mode, they can grow so large they actually outgrow their puffed-up hitbox! This makes it impossible to destroy blocks on either side of you, and makes it much easier to get stuck in certain situations. Had to end this run as I was weighing in at 4392 pounds, and that was just too long to wait for the timer to tick down one pound at a time.

On a related note, just finished the Anubis fight, but I did so on such a good run that it was kind of over before I could really think much about it. I’ll try and slow down for the next one so I can give thoughts properly, lol.

Also, found a minor glitch. I’m not sure what causes this exactly- I think it has something to do with the relationship between the shrine discount item and the increasing shrine prices. In certain cases, shrines can cost a weight value with a decimal point at the end, and purchasing the shrine permanently appends a decimal point to your weight value, which is great for impressing people who don’t look too closely (“pshaw that’s nothing, last run i got so fat my weight was a six digit number”), but bad for readability.

What an interesting oversight, I don’t usually test that deep into individual runs so this is a good catch. I’ll make a note of that and the decimal thing for the next patch, though hotfixes are going to slow down a bit now that I’ve been working on them for a few days straight now

Absolutely, take your time and don’t burn yourself out!

Doing some more Choux runs, I can say that the threshold at which they can no longer break blocks to either side of them is somewhere between 3200 and 3300 pounds. Interestingly, they seem to lose the hitbox on their right side before they lose the hitbox on their left, which indicates to me that the hitbox is just a few pixels off-center.

Also, enabling/disabling the size cap during a run doesn’t seem to work (either that or the maximum size is bigger than i think it is. It’s 2000 pounds before your size stops going up, right?). Even if you fall below the weight cap and reach it again, you still keep growing.
