Preface: I’m doing this because there’s been a lot of attempts and discussions on a Minecraft weight gain mod. Previously there was a post called Guts and Tums, which had all the vision, but was crucially lacking a coder, so nothing happened. There have been models that simulated it, but were very limited with what you could do. There have been numerous threads saying we should do this!!!. This mod is the culmination of a year and a half of work, that I’ve kept on the down low with the sole purpose of not becoming another dream ungranted. Enjoy!
Overstuffed is a mod almost entirely made by me, with some a few contributions from PSQ and Sprites from Metha Rossi. The goal is to both provide players with quick weight gain in the form of the Stuffed Bar, and a slower burn gain in the form of Weight.

Gameplay Summary
So the instant you start eating food with the mod installed, you may notice that your hunger may be full, but you can keep on eating! Doing so will fill up the players stuffed bar, which is denoted by the little dots above your hunger. To start every player has a max of 5, but as you eat more and more food and fill up that stuffed bar, you can raise that max to 9.
When you gain stuffed points, there is a little calculation that takes the amount of saturation turns it into weight~! This is meant to be a gradual gain, with the player putting on a pound every few seconds normally, depending on the amount of saturation of your food. Less filling foods get turned into weight instantly, while more filling ones take more time to get fully converted(with a cap of course b/c modded foods).
There are a number of other features, but for the sake of brevity I will leave the in-depth explanation for this document and the Fatcraft discord
Settings:
Default keybind is “O”, but this is how you can access the Overstuffed Menu(WIP). The main page is the gameplay and visual settings, while the graphics menu allows you to customize where exactly different elements of the menu are located on the screen.
Limitations(PLEASE READ)
This mod uses a popular modelling mod called CPM as an API. All the visual updates are done through CPM, so if you want to get fat visually, you NEED CPM! You need to have a CPM model that’s configured correctly, and while Rise’s Alex Model is a good start, I heavily encourage people to learn CPM for themselves, as that way you can create a model that has your exact preferences. You can find support help for this on the fatcraft discord
FIGURA SUPPORT
(Updated as of 5/30/2025)
If your one of those people who used to use CPM and have long transcended their pitiful CPM husks for Figura bodies, than I have good news for you! All of the values for overstuffed are able to be accessed through NBT, and if a value isn’t updating that shouldn’t be for whatever reason(mainly settings as it would be a hassle to save them), then the /overstuffed updateNBT will force the users NBT player to reflect the players.
FAQ
Question:“I installed the mod but I’m just my skin, why won’t it work.”
Answer:“Use this neat visual tutorial! You haven’t setup your model correctly through CPM.”
Question:“Could you port it to X version of Minecraft?”
Answer:“No. I made this mod with the intent for it to be used on the Fatcraft discord server, who’s servers are mainly on 1.20.1 or 1.19.2. Porting can take a lot of time initially when creating new features, and is tedious when just doing bug fixes., but it’s incredibly frustrating and the more versions I have to translate the worse the task becomes. Would only consider if I had someone else dedicatedly porting the mod.”
Question:“Add Mobs”
Answer:“Let me make a decent mod first, than I’ll worry about mobs”
Looking for:
- Minecraft Java Forge Programmer
- Coding this by myself is straining, so a fresh pair of eyes that I could just talk to and who understands what I’m saying would be a miracle.
- If you want to actually help me code too that would be nice.
- If your familiar with programming in general but unfamiliar with Forge, I can recommend a relatively short tutorial series that taught me everything
Releases
12/9/2024:
1.1 Release: A version focused on QOL changes to the menus alongside general bug-fixing and polish.
- 12/10 Fixed a bug that would cause you to crash if you tried to use menu and didn’t have CPM
5/30/2025 (Damn 6 months…)
1.2 Release
- Weight Effects! Gaining weight stages will give the player more HP, at the cost of some movement speed, at max weight they will have an extra 5 hearts, however will be given a 40% movement penalty. Increments downwards from there to no effect at zero weight
- Wedge Effect: If your fat and you try to go through a doorway thats a bit too small, theres a chance your gonna get stuck! Currently is just slowness 5 for a few seconds but in later updates will be more engaging!
- Graphical Updates: Thanks to the work of Tyrus, there is a much nicer UI for you to feast your eyes upon
- setMaxStuffed command, allows your to forcibly set what progression you are at in regards to your stuffed bar limit.
- Advancement to gain the recipe for the scale when you get a weight pressure plate
- So many bug fixes. Big one is that overstuffed would simply not work on a server, which was due to me not testing certain features correctly(LAN versus a proper server are treated very differently)
IF YOU WANT TO USE CPM, YOU NEED AT LEAST VERSION 0.6.20a, THE MOD WILL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU HAVE THE WRONG VERSION IN THE MENU
