I hate to add to my list of “Pokemon themed ides”, but hear me out on this one again. You might have heard of Poke Wilds, the project that is still in the works that is based in Gen 2 graphics and mechanics while adding most, if not all of the pokemon to the game. It has an easy moding tool as just editing graphics and simple code.

I did make one just to edit the trainer, and in the process to edit ONE pokemon instead of them all, it is still being worked on, and I wanted to show this amazing project to more people and get the moding scene for this fan game in high gear. I also have a base model using the Hiker NPC so I’ll drop it as a download so you can make your own edit.

what is the game in general if i may ask? (as a someone who has never heared of Pokewilds)

It is a true “open world” sandbox pokemon game. Using the generation 2 engine and appearance, you are able to catch pokemon all the way from gen 1 to gen 8, as of the current update. You are able to craft, build, and terraform the millions of randomly generated islands varying by the size you set it too. They are doing a big 9.0 update that is still in the works, adding a pokedex, more pokemon, and online multiplayer! I recommend the Git page since it has a more clear definition.
