I’ve been slowly working towards making a game (from zero experience but it’s coming along). I’m using RPG Maker MV, but might switch to twine if it starts to hurt my puny brain.

Anyways, I wanted to hear some thoughts from the gamers in the chat.

So let’s say this game is about someone who plays vidya games, and bounces the story between the gamer and their game-world(s). (I put the ‘s’ in parenthesis since I’m still figuring out the scope and flow) The game world(s) would be parodies of larger titles that most people might have played.

My first thoughts are the ones dear to me:

  • Skyrim
  • Mass Effect
  • Fallout
    etc. etc.

But I wanted to get some feedback from you all too. Which games do you love that you would want to see parodied?

Other games and genres that seem ripe for WG parody:

–Fortnite
–Deck builder roguelite (like Slay the Spire) or a regular roguelite (maybe Hades or Caves of Qud)
–Hitman
–____ Truck Simulator
