[Project Announcement] A new Pixel-Art Management Sim is in the works!

I’ve been a lurker here for a while, and I’ve decided it’s time to step out of the shadows. I’m currently studying to become a Game Programmer, and I have a background as a 2D Artist. I’ve decided to combine these two worlds to create a project I’m truly passionate about.

I’m working as a “one-man army” on a Management/Simulation game developed in Unity. The game focuses on weight gain and character transformation through a systemic approach.

I want to keep the specific mechanics under wraps for just a bit longer while I polish the core systems, but I can tell you it will involve managing a “boarding house,” balancing finances, and navigating the unique personalities (and appetites) of its guests.

I’m currently in the very early stages of development (just have the gameplay design and some art), but I wanted to show you the Stage 1 sprites for the first two characters. I’m going for an Anime Pixel Art style, and I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I’ll be sharing a more detailed pitch and a roadmap in the next months, along with more info on where you can follow the development (Patreon/Devlog).

I am curious about a few things, will the game be a serious if missions or an endless sandbox? And do you have a maximum amount of characters in mind?

It will kinda be a sandbox and the girls will have various stages. But each girl has her own dialogue and events. I don’t have a number in mind but I will definitely start small (3/4 girls maybe) and expanding with more later on

I really appreciate how much is immediately apparent about the two characters you’ve shown just from the art.
