Okay I’ve done everything now I think. This update took me at least twice as long as the first update to finish. The side quest dungeon was fun (and sad) and had some pretty impressive sprites as well.

I am super interested to see how the story is going to justify these characters ever choosing to do something that causes them to gain weight specially someone like dawn but so far so good dude keep it up!

I’ve got to say – I’m particularly captured by the amount of thought put into the story / lore, mostly because it is entirely believable that humanity would go such such extremes. I look forward to more!

Practical bug for 99’s robot bodies: it looks like the Robot Slayer body’s code got a typo and it costs 30 component As instead of 3 like it looks like every other suit is intended to cost.

That one is intentional. Component A is the cheapest, so 30 of them don’t cost to much. All the different bodies should cost roughly the same amount in chips to assemble, give or take 100 in either direction.

Thank you! Each character gets a pair of unique (and optional) story arc that will cause them to gain weight. All these quest arcs will span over the whole game in parts, and I can’t wait to share them! It’ll take a special sort of someone to break Dawn’s shell 
I’m so glad you liked it! I had a ton of fun putting the lore together, especially 99’s dialogue describing why Humanity treats Catgirls the way they do. I’ll be sprinkling in some more lore through the game of how humanity went from it’s age of war, to its new age of Hedonism.

Are there any plan for new playable members to join the Rebles later in the game or will it just be 99 , Dawn , BB and Amber leading the charge ? Or will we get characters like Pythia, not playable but still a main character in the overarching story?

As far as the main story goes, Amber, BB, 99, and Dawn will be our main party members for the entire game.
Though in Pythia’s case she will play a larger role in one of the 7 side quests that span across the city exploration part of the updates.

When you say 7 side quests I assume there’s one for each of the rebles: Dawn, 99 lives , BB , Amber and Pythia. Maybe one with Jaiden as well checking in on him, with the last being a goofy non - character focused quest. Just speculation though.

Actually it’s 2 for Amber, 2 for Dawn, 2 for BB and 1 for 99L1V35.
Each side quest will play during the city exploration sections. They will for the most part not have any combat and instead be more focused on character development…and character weight gain! Each of the side quests will have a character go up in weight (except 99) and unlike with bad ends, this gain will be permanent.

We decided to do something a little different with the updates for the rest of this work period of Atlas. Since we’re doing 3 rather self contained character quests, we saw no reason not to put them out as soon as they were finished! Amber’s already up for $10 patron, and its overall schedule is listed below!
We’ll update this calendar as we finish, but Dawn should be done near the end of the Month and BB in mid-June. Sorry that’s a bit over the projected time, but once that’s wrapped up we’re going back to Apostles for the rest of the year!
