I’d be interested in seeing what you’d done.
As Krodmandoon says, I’d conciser it at least common courtesy to ask for the dev’s permission.
They’re still liking things so they’re active.
And you never know, they might be down for a Project Bob fan mod
Yup. That’s why I’m on board with the idea of reaching out to the dev and getting permission to work on/distribute modified versions of his (still legally owned by him) abandonware.
I have been following along in this conversation and while it is nice that I have inspired someone. @Assar has reached out and I have said no to him releasing new versions of Project Bob. As i have said before i still work on making this game in some form if not in renpy. And wish to have the ability to continue releasing versions without stepping on someones toes I let take over temporarily while i work in private.
That’s of course your right and fair enough. Just wondering if you are working on a game of similar style to the existing or if you are pursuing the MMO web version you mentioned, as that sounds a completely different game? And that’s not me asking you to do or not do either thing, just wondering so I know what to expect as the existing game’s premise and style is my favourite on this site
I’m having problems in the game, every time I should have an event, a screen like this appears for me…
And after I bought a car, every time I tell the character to go to work with it, I get an error that traps me in an infinite roll back
This is the car problem error screen.
It is worth mentioning that I am using windows 11.
Hey! I think I just hit some sort of plateau in this. I got the character to 415 lbs, then out of nowhere, she was uncomfortably cold in the normal house. I’ve tried everything (messing with the heating/cooling, wearing a sweater/hoodie and sweats, and even downsizing houses). Over time, her happiness and, subsequently, her greed levels rapidly decreased!
I know it’s been a WHILE since this thread’s been active but, hopefully, someone can eventually answer my question. I have absolutely no clue what I’ve done wrong.
The answers to these are in this thread, however as a short cut, if memory serves me correct 1.4.2 had a bug where when your hot it tells you your cold. Im guessing at 450lbs your hot, and your home temperature needs to be like 68-72. My guess your target weight is not going up so your character stopped gaining you need to increase your target weight to break the plateau.
Oh, I guess I didn’t see that in the thread. Thanks for the run down though!
