@MrGothi this is quite odd. I replayed the current build of the game and I didn’t get this error, everything worked as intended so I’m not too sure why this happened.
Meanwhile, can anyone else report if they experienced this issue? I’d hate if the inspect system wasn’t working for Madeline like it did every other character in the party.
EDIT: Let me know if it works on your second time around. It might be a corrupted save, unless other people have this same issue too.
Glad you enjoyed it! The bad endings are sometimes the most difficult parts of making the game but are usually the most enjoyable.
@ethernal15king interesting- I’ve never seen this bug before. Does this happen every time you try to leave the menu, and does the game start up normally? The fact the error ends with “save” leads me to believe maybe it’s some form of a corrupted save, assuming you carried your saves over.
OK! Played it myself, and got to the entrance to the desert, where the current build ends. Very nice so far! Only bug I ran into myself is the clown at the beach. When you do the inflation scene with the barrel, it would just black screen. Also, I couldn’t figure out how to get into the well at the Outskirts, or get the password for the cave in the forest. But I did almost everything else for the game. Very well done!
I’m glad it was just a corrupt save, I was pretty worried something was awry and stopping other people from seeing alot of Madeline’s dialogue aswell.
The answer for the cave is posted above deep in the forums if you want it, my only hint is there’s a book in Aloewood with an answer. There’s no fetish content in there so if you miss it don’t worry. But for the well, check in the Windy Plains. There’s an entrance somewhere in there that leads underground to the well.
Don’t know if anybody else has run into this problem. I am playing this on Mac and it does not allow me to save the game any help would be appreciated. I also found these 2 bugs.
Is there a list of all the new sidequests in 4.0 update?
It seems there’s one for teeka the goblin?
Rescuing a girl from mushrooms?
Clown air?
(Magnus is main quest so not really sidequest?)
Then anything chateau related.
Mana ball? Go from farm (where you start) to the west and then again to the west - there is an area that was not in previous updates as far as I know. You will need same item as for entering mushroom cave to progress there.
There’s a hidden bad ending described in the post above this. There’s also a maid on the docks of Seafoam and a chubby Thief was added in the Inn in the Capital outskirts. The maid is not technically a quest, but rather just a little WG event, but the thief is a simple sidequest. Good job finding those so far!
No problem~! Yanfly’s Save Engine has some oddities on Macs, or really its a permission oddity deal.

Hey all! I just wanted to say big thank you for everyone playing. We have 850 downloads (assuming each click on the mega link leads to a download) and I couldn’t be more thankful for y’all playing.
I figured I’d give a little spoiler to the next area. Many of you know it’s already going to be a desert biome, but I plan on making it by far the largest area in the game to date. I want routes to be longer, more full of goodies, and overall a more unique and visually appealing experience than your typical RPG Maker game. Of course, I’ll also be sneaking in some fetish related events inside them.
(Still a WIP, but the general vibe and atmosphere for the Famitu desert coming up)
In the meantime, get ready for a lot more content! There’s going to be a lot on the way for Roundbound. The game only has a fraction of the ideas I want to put in, so stay tuned for more
