Hello, sorry for the confusion.
We are working on making some changes to the server that aren’t ready to go live. New users will be able to join shortly, but not now. In the meantime, you can still get the most up-to-date version of the mod on the Github Page.
I have the main branch mod installed,what does the gt-dev branch add?.
Gt-dev is where many recent updates have been. It’s part of a larger update that is still a work-in-progress. At the moment, there are two new sprite sets for males, more clothing and some new items.
Not sure if this was already explained, but the settings mention setting sizes for Gelatinous or something like that. Does that setting do anything yet, or did I just misread it, because it doesn’t seem to make the pawn bigger at higher numbers.

There is a setting to limit the visual gelatinous size, which might be what you’re talking about. There are visual size differences up to Gelatinous 20, but at that point it essentially covers the whole screen. The setting allows you to cap the visuals at an earlier gelatinous stage to make the game more playable while still allowing them to gain weight.
Hmm, when I last tried it, there is a tab on your bottom menu in-game.
“RR” should be the label. Most of the settings are in there I think.
I ended up finding that I was looking in the options mod setting menu not a ingame menu
Is there going to be updates with more stuffing focused content later on or is it only focused on weight gain stuff
The idea of stuffing content has been floated before, but for visuals it would require an insane number of sprites. I would gladly work with someone to make this a reality, but they would need to provide such sprites.
What about non-visual things like moodlets and traits?
Honestly, the mod is in a place where I think additional content in terms of integration with the expansions and select mods (thinking ideoreligions expanded) makes the most sense. Game can always use more events, the fattening toxin ship feels unfinished, etc.
I want more ways to interact with existing content FAR more than making the mod more complex but with no extra depth.
Are there wg themed events in this mod? If so is there a way to make the happen more often or even exclusively? Or is it just a nutrition thing?
What sort of traits are you thinking? The trouble with moodlets we ran into before is that they digest so fast that their mood would bounce around like crazy.
Not really any events. There are things for you to research and items to craft, but generally no events.
I’m definitely interested in events. I’ve had a hard time coming up with ideas that are interesting, however. The plan is to add a storyteller, but we need more events before that makes sense.
Oh I see. That makes sense. I was thinking since there were a lot of traits that make a weight gain fetishist pawn who likes various states of weight gain there would be equivalent ones for stuffing.
When I use this mod I usually mess around with pawns with Masochistic because they get mood buffs from the pain of stuffing, which is fun, but it’s not exactly representing a stuffing fetishist pawn.
It sounds like a mood boost from stuffing doesn’t fit as well as I thought it would.
The visual stuff I didn’t have much of an interest in anyway because pawns in rimworld already benefit from using simplification to leave the details up to the players’ imaginations (no need to have a sprite for a pawn missing an arm if none of the sprites show arms). Also I did know that it would need so so many sprites to account for all the states
This one may seem like a stretch, but what about something like “-blank- of plenty”? Like plants, trees, or forests?
Or maybe raiders who stuff their captives either as torture, or for some cruel sense of pragmatism like using them as food disposal, test subjects for either cooking or unknown wild foods (probably upping their poison resistance), or for fattening them into human beds who are incapable of movement, not even resistance?
For friendly folks, it may be treading into certain expansions but how about communities that help inspire roleplay? Like showcasing a community where there’s a preference for fat either as a sign of beauty, health, or wealth. Or how they love stuffing and fattening their guests as an accomplishment of being a good host.
Another one would be perhaps “friendly” wildlife who are not only okay with you using them as a food source, but even encourage it! Of course, there is the danger of them either fattening you up or even causing you to pop. Another would probably be wildlife that are like ant colonies and try to turn characters into honeypot like beings; I mean like how some species of ants will have certain members of a colony used as a food storage source in times of scarcity. Now I’m imagining those DeviantArt stories involving, basically, fat-sucking mosquitoes.
And finally - perhaps add in research topics of fighting styles for fatties; Fat Club Inc is an artist who could serve great reference for the wrestling variant, there’s of course the ever so popular sumo wrestling over in Japan, and this article on agile yet fat people can probably serve as inspiration as well.

The fact that you can limit The fetish content actually makes this mod relatively interesting as an immersive mod. Have a late game colony for who just become obese because they have nothing better to do other than eat really rich foods because everything is automated.

Would make for a really neat angle for Rimworld making controlling a pawns diet harder.
Needing to feed labourers alot more than craftsmen. Making food binges alot more impactful. Weighing the emotional gain of eating food to the weight gain.
Maybe not DLC level, but vanilla expanded for sure
hey I am running in to a problem. a pawn keeps eating to the point of collapse and nothing I do in the gizmo stops them
still have the problem stat wise but bought a belt that helps with that (I got super lucky with rare animal for some reason walking through my kill tunnel of traps and died of blood lose
so if no has heard yet there’s going to be a new expansion to Rim World which adds space ships to the game
not sure how this will effect end game but thought i let people in this topic know
