Risk of Rain 2 Fatify Redux out now!

I have been cooking a bit since the latest DLC dropped and wanted to remake some of the earliest skins of Fatify as those were the times I was still learning alot of blender skills.

Considering some may want to keep the old skins though as I did not 100% remake them 1:1 I decided to release the remakes and the new skins that are comming with the DLC into a new mod, “Fatify Redux”

The old Fatify is still avaliable here: Fatify | Thunderstore - The Risk of Rain 2 Mod Database
With the fix to the Merc skins.

The new Fatify Redux can be found here: Fatify Redux | Thunderstore - The Risk of Rain 2 Mod Database

uh it does not seem to work with the mod manager… it does not show (yet) so i hope this fixes itself soon

Do I need pick only one of these Fatify? Not both, right?

Never played ROR2, but this does make me want to try now ! Very nice work !

Edit: Bought the game, and I dont regret it !

Nice to see more stuff from you again and these new models look absolutely amazing!

I cannot remember if you answered this question already, but do you plan on adding any dynamic weight sliders or anything like it? Mainly with something like: BodyBlend | Thunderstore - The Risk of Rain 2 Mod Database

I also am really excited for this new overhaul. That being said, just a few notes-

  • I would like to hear about it when this mod gets an update! Is there any way I can do that?
  • The Mercenary’s massive model’s butt is, “pointy” and I think this subtracts from the largeness and roundness of their rump. I’m only offering this advice as someone who’s used blender for a few years, so take it with a pinch of salt if that’s exactly what you’re going for. :3

Can someone explain me how do i make the manual instalation? or where do i need to put the archive plis.

read the old thread of thiss mod, i forgot it too but i alvays check that first

Weird question, would you ever add to the mod in regards to adding items that add weight over time to a point? Was just curious as I deeply enjoy the gaining aspect of weight gain!

yeah Mercs Colossal skin is a bit much. Felt like a feverdream making that one.

also updates will be the easiest to be notified on is on my twitter x.com

thanks for the info!! but yeah I generally sculpt a lot of my meshes; by the looks of it some brushing with the clay and smooth tool can help smooth out the “point” of Merc’s butt.

Since there is no tutorial here I´ll make one really quickly. This whole thing should take you 5 or 6 minutes at most so try to read it all first and then procede with the following instructions:

  1. Have a clean installation of ROR2, that means, no files inside the steam directory folder or manually installed mods.
  2. Go to https://thunderstore.io/ and download r2modman.
  3. Make a new folder and extract all files from the winrar to the folder using your prefered program to do so.
  4. Open the folder where you extracted r2modman and click the r2modman .exe set up file. Install it (keep everything at default) and run it.
  5. Open r2modman, select the game you want to mod (In this case ROR2), then select the platform you have the game in (Either Steam or Epic Games Store) then make a new profile and name it however you want.
  6. Go to the “Online” tab and select the 2 pinned mods (BepInExPack and R2API) and click download with all dependecies.
  7. Go back to the “Online” tab and then click the “filter categories” button and check the box that says “Allow NSFW (Potentially explicit) mods”, then apply filters.
  8. Then, in the search bar type the word “Fat” and both Fatify (the old mod) and Fatify redux should appear.
  9. Download either one or both (Turns out both can coexist lololol)
  10. Then click the “star modded” button and select single player (I have not tried it in multiplayer).
  11. Select the character you want and go to the outfit section, select the one you want and voila! enjoy your fatifyed Risk of rain 2 characters.

just so you know, I have- the mod works fine in multiplayer, changes are purely only ever visible on the clientside though. if the other player doesn’t have the mod, the models don’t show up and you’ll just be wearing the base skin

not exactly a fat mod but its too good to pass up
