Howdily do y’all, I’ve been out of the writing hobby for a wee bit, and was wondering/hoping to see if y’all had some wg scenarios and ideas that might help spark a mood to type something up. These would be smaller exercises, probably falling in the range of 2-3 traditional page lengths. After cherry picking a few, I’ll see what I can roll out and throw back up here to show the results. Thanks in advanced to anyone who’s willin to try throwing an idea or two at the wall!
Oh! And, these can range from something vague like just themes and certain content focus to way more specific, such as characters/places/particular scenes as welm.
Magical girls fight the feeder monster form other world, but ture final boss is the mystery creature who guide of all magical girls.
I think this will be a good story’s main line
Dunno if these will fit your length goals, but here’s a couple ideas off the top of my head.
The protagonist finds a mysterious ledger that contains a list of names, including their own name and the names of everyone they know. Each name is accompanied by a number, which the protagonist eventually realizes is a representation of the corresponding person’s weight. Then the protagonist tries changing the numbers…
You’ve been having trouble sleeping at night. Lately, you’ve been hearing strange noises coming from the apartment above yours. You’ve never actually seen your upstairs neighbor, despite the fact that you’ve both lived in this building for years. One night, as you’re lying in bed staring up at the ceiling, something catches your attention… Are you imagining it, or is the ceiling sagging?
