Hello!
I don’t know how switching around files works, and I need some help.
I have a mod that i want to “split” in a way,
the head model from dedraz_es47’s Curvy Ashley mod.
Dedraz gave her this beautiful chubby face, and I think it would look good on BaronOBeefDip’s XL body for her. If I could grab the head model, make it its own mod, put it on that body, and THEN I would have my perfect fat ashley.
I haven’t investigated enough how making mods for the RE engine games works, but i can give you some pointers. Try this tutorial as shows how to use some tools and make a mod.
The resident evil modding boards has some stuff that is good to know, such as what file contains each mesh.
From what i know, the models are divided into different parts, and Ashley’s head is a different part, so it can be replaced. you could take all the head related files of the mod of you want and replace the ones of the baron’s mod.
The problem i see is that the other head you want very likely won’t match the body of baron’s mod and will have a big seam.
Actually wanted to set this up before I start a new playthrough as I haven’t played through re4 in a while. Those screenshots were taken in the merchant’s room before the final boss in my last save.
Ashley still looks AMAZING, of course.
I’m using hair from a mod called “Reimagination Ashley Graham” and another mod to make her hair black on on her romantic outfit. the silvery color is a bit to granny-like for my taste.
