Sneak Feast - Demo release!

I haven’t planned on doing a patreon for this game. A discord is possible once I get back to full production for the game. But sadly things have been busy for me, sorry for the delay!

Anyway, I’ve got an idea for another thingy.
So I was thinking you could have like a suppressor on a pistol to literally just end a guard but you only have like one bullet so you can’t just run in guns blazing.
Also with the corpse that gets left behind, it could have the option of being dragged around into one of the hiding spaces (and disabling said space in the process) or just vored to increase player weight but keep the hiding space valid.

The npcs would have to have overlapping paths for the corpse discovery thing to even be a threat in the first place though, so…
I dunno. It’s an idea.

I dunno about that. Death isn’t exactly a fun idea for a weird fat fur game about getting fat. Maybe replace the gun’s bullets with something that immobilizes/knocks out the guard instead, and just keep the idea of dragging the disabled guard to a hiding space. Voring it…Eh, that might depend on the creator’s choice.

Echoing DesperateCreator’s point, a taser or stun gun makes a bit more sense. There’s always this unwritten rule for cat burglars (hah) and sneak thieves to avoid getting one’s hands dirty with wet work like some common thug.

Yeah, a dart gun that makes you immobile is a much better idea then one with bullets.

That’s fair. Immobilization does seem more along the theming of the concept and knocking them out can have the exact same effect as the dead body thing just without the blood.

But I do have another idea–
What about an endless gamemode where you need to eat all the food items within a set amount of time to proceed to the next stage, upon which your weight is reduced back either one level or back to slim to start again for the oncoming level. The difficulty could stem from the timer being shortened by 5-15 seconds each round (ha) and/or more food being spawned.

As echoed with other posters here, outright violence isn’t really planned for the series, buuuut we did have an idea of a character that uses either a trap or dart gun to immobilize enemies. Being able to hide a guard in a hidey hole (at the cost of losing access for that hole) was another possible ability for a character as well.

We were surprised at people’s eagerness to do our little speedrunning challenge when we initially posted the game, so something like a repeat challenge would fit that bill too. Definitely a good way to re-use levels in a challenge mode sort of way.

I’m just happy to see eagerness for this project after all this time. I do want to do this concept proper and seeing everyone talk about ideas and such is nice to see, thank you all!
