I have always wanted to discuss the topic with another group of fans about their favorite character, and first about their first cast.

Personally I think they will kill me a little bit, but I’ll give my opinions xd
my favorites in order are Jim, Oken, Zac and Lacky.
and the ones I dislike the most are Pi and Ian
My arguments are:
Jim although he’s a character who kicks the dog a lot and his Freudian excuse can be a bit odd for his behavior, overall he’s a pretty sensible and kind person in general if you’re on his route, personally I think for a tsundere character he’s usually well balanced
Oken: maybe he is one of the best developed characters in the game, he is a person that if you treat him badly he will still give you opportunities (something that if you do in Jim or Shaun’s route he won’t), and also in many occasions he usually moves a lot the plot (more in the alpha than in the current version).
Zac: although he was pretty much downgraded in the current version of the game (many of his original characteristics like having money or being a Casanova were given to other characters) and partly became an orbiting character (in the alpha he played Ian’s role) personally I think he is a character that can be someone seductive that knows how to tell you what you want to hear.
Lacky: personally I think he is a very underrated character (mostly for being thin in a fat game) but he is a character that feels very real and firm with his morals (he doesn’t have moments of hypocrisy or where he is out of character).
While personally I don’t like Pi and Ian very much
Pi: personally I think he is a character whose objective is not me (feeders and fat admirers), at times he comes to feel a bit childish and annoying and at the same time I feel that his personality does not balance much, plus the time when he crushed Jim in retrospect feels too disproportionate (a punch would have been enough),
Ian: his personality being too much of a man (not in a good way), although similar to Pi I feel that as such his objective is more to give the male gaze and I recognize that narratively he also nine the threads of the story and many situations happen because he exists, but I feel that he is a character where you would have to sacrifice a lot to satisfy him.

Liam: I really like that they used the archetype of a tortured artist, I feel that it gives it a touch, although I feel that it is a character that might move the plot a bit in the future, I don’t know why I have the feeling that it’s a character that might move the plot a bit.
Moony: Although Moony is a character that may seem unpleasant to some, she genuinely looks well-written and seems to be a polite and kind person.
Xavy: It’s a character that I personally think they should take care of to avoid it becoming a satellite character, but I liked that it was a non-binary furro, it feels fresher.
Nishky: If Oken wasn’t that good, why did Oken 2 come out? Hahahaha seriously, I feel he’s a cute, silly and cute character, not all young adults have to be so mature all the time, personally I think he’s an expy of Oken in the best aspect (accompanying you in the plot).
Remmy: It looks familiar but I don’t know from where… I still feel it is an easier expy de Pi to deal with.
Rashk: He is a character that I feel satellite, but he is quite kind and polite.
Coops: I feel that if they made him a good enough character, he is a person who despite being spoiled is quite sweet and polite, you would expect him to be a more unbearable person.
Kev: I would say he is an Expy of Ian but that would be reducing the character too much, I feel as a plot tool he is very excellent and I feel he could be responsible for where the plot goes in the future, he is an easy character to write and make the players like him, and personally my favourite.
And of the characters in black, they are characters that I think took up more screen time, but I’ll still have an opinion.
Ziul Walls: He’s a character that is very dream manic pixie boy, but I feel like if he had been given more screen time he would have made more of an impact on the player, I can understand why his personality changed in the second version of the game (basically Zac and him shared a personality).
Legan: I feel him a very flop character, and a character that doesn’t devour much, more screen time would have helped him develop a lot more, Although he and ziul are very dynamic characters.
Ryan: is a character that I feel was introduced too late, I think if retcons were added to his story he could be more of a plot support character and not so much of a satellite.
Shaun: I actually like him, he’s pretty well written, and I think he’s a lovely brother and father, but he’s just not my type.
