Heyo! Sounds like you’re having a similar problem that an earlier user had:

Possible bug report:

In the extra secret candy room in Nordenhaven, I get into a room with a large cupcake after eating everything in the large room with the river, and then nothing happens. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Also after eating the tree in that room the cutscene that plays when entering the room plays again???

Other than that great game, love the burping content though and wish there was even more of it!

Yep, I had this same bug too. It seemed to trigger when I was using ā€˜W’ to speed through the dialogue (I had already seen the whole scene once, just wanted to see the other ending since you can’t save during the scene.) and specifically at the oak tree segment, as you pointed out.

It led to me running through the scene more times than I care to count… =3=

As it stands, only recourse is to reload and do the scene properly.

Oh, that reminds me, I’ve had Clara visually seem to go into the wall (left side of where Emmi goes in) when she walks into the extra secret candy room. Looked a bit funny.

I believe the issue was when making the replay version I went back and forth between the original map and the new replay one. I… accidentally altered the original Tree in the bottom left to send you to the replay map when you interact with it rather than back to the original map. This only happens if you try and interact with the bottom left tree section; the bottom right tree sprite still works fine. I’ve fixed it for the next update, which should be coming with the next major release. Not ETA on it, but I am mostly done with the main story. A lot of balancing and bug fixing needs to happen, and also working on the side quests. I think this time we are going to have some really good ones that people will like!

Side note: The Clara walking into the wall occurs if you have the game go super speed via holding Enter or Space (whatever the action button is). It’s kind of a funny bug so I’m keeping it in

Well, now I know this wasn’t an isolated incident on my part, but others have been having the same issues as I was. But thanks for the tips about trying to avoid them, I should be able to finish the scene that way.

Outside of that, I’ve really come to enjoy the game very much. It’s been a while since I legitimately came to love an Rpg-maker game, and I wish to see more out of this. The Gameplay is really good for what it has to offer, I especially love how the combat reflects on how each character is like. On that note, I love the cast of characters! Emmie is an adorable glutton that needs to be protected. Esse is also pretty fun to have around as her comments tend to make me laugh. Pro is just trying his best to deal with the situation while having his moments to shine. And Clara? I love her! She tries to stay serious but is underneath a lovable dork in regards to sweets. And it’s not just the characters either, the people that they meet are also really enjoyable and adds to the environment.

I’ve read a bit above regarding the discussion about adding vore into the game, so I might as well add my own cent into it. I believe it would be nice to have it be an option in the game you can select, with the necessary warning for those who aren’t as keen on it.

Anyways, I love the game as I said, and hope to see more in the future. Anyways, have a good day.

I was thinking about a mini game : there is a room /storage full of food that Emmie has to eat in order to find an item or get out. She has a time limit and must be careful not to step on a broken/damaged floor tile because it may collapse under her belly 's weight. Or maybe there’s a cool down effect (like burping) to help her in digesting and making room for more food faster. I think that’s a cool idea!

Why is there a time limit(in universe)?

To make the mini game a bit more challenging , I guess?

On a sidenote, I do enjoy how Emmie’s eating ability has become an established norm for her within the party, rather than something to hide. It wouldn’t surprise me if ā€œLet’s eat our way out of this mess!ā€ becomes a useful tactical consideration for Pro for future bullshi- er, challenges ahead. Especially if more slimes are involved :3

Mmm, I do have to wonder what will happen next in the story, and how can Emmie surpass her previous eating feat? That one with the candy is going to be hard to beat.

Emmie eats a dragon… made of candy.

You will find out soon! I have finished the main questline content for the most part (still needs a bit of testing and adding bits here or there). I’ll start working on the the side quests and testing those as well. It will definitely be a lot of content.

Hey, I think I’ve found a bug with the Wippsbruck sidequest. After killing the Thing and trying to leave Peder’s hideout, I just get sent right back into the cave. On top of this, Emmie and Pro aren’t visible, and I don’t think I can control them, which seems to softlock me into the room for the rest of time. It’s pretty weird.

Hm, it’s supposed to play a cutscene where you find out the Thing didn’t exactly perish. Did the music rise and the thing start to move? I opened it up and everything looks to be in order. I can make a slight change to it to make it run more efficiently, but otherwise looks fine. I would say when it happens to not move the players and let the cutscene take place. If it is still breaking I can upload a slightly changed version for the next release.

I just checked and it seemed to work fine the second time around, thankfully, but the first time I just sat there for a few minutes and nothing happened.

Yeah I think I see what happened, something must have gone out of order. Apologies you had to deal with it! I’ll rework the scene so it will never do that again.

Say, I have a question, hope you don’t mind answering. What originally got you into making the game in the first place, and how do you think the game has developed since then?
