So I’ll just be straight forward, is there any real benefit to being all moral and pure? Because I’ve been trying to do that but so far I just feel like I’m missing out on stuff like the burp skill, or stealing food from the rich kids
nah there isn’t much difference in between the two paths so go with whatever you feel emmie would do in that situation. although holding back on the whole stealing the ski dudes food does provide a more indulgent scene compared to the glutton route. i feel like we’ve been slowly easing the differences to just flavor text at this point to keep things straightforward. there are some instances where being pure gets you different battle items, or buffs. I feel like its all pretty balanced tho
Could be fun to dabble in the pure/glutton “routes” from an achievement hunting perspective if they were ever implemented.
Given the amount of extra side content, easter eggs and easily overlooked secrets there are lavished into the game, an achievement system to keep track of things wouldn’t be the worst idea ever.
I am at the island, where I have pro back after the village situation, where you need to go to the barricade leading to el forced. I think I lost it since downloaded the game, i don’t know if it could’ve of been during moving my saves.
Wait what are you talking about?
Thank you. I wasn’t sure that I actually had abilities. I guess I forgot to check.
Very eager to see what happens next with the belch/bloat fruit.
I have to agree. I’m saving my full thoughts on this update for when the full thing is released, all the side quests and stuff, but the little teaser of the bloat fruit has probably been my favorite thing in this game kink wise. I love stuff that gets eaten, then keeps expanding inside the character.
You’ve definitely earned the break you’re gonna take, and I eagerly await the full version of this update.
Not quite done with the new content (I think) but I’ve found another bug.
Upon trying to re-enter the main building on the island, the Ritual scene will play again. I’ve completed that amazon’s challenges if that is a potential cause. Glutton route if it matters. (Maybe it does, since this scene references a choice)
I’ve had a lot of fun with it though! It’s the only bug I’ve encountered, and everything else has been the same Some Bullshit I’ve gushed about here a couple times already. Going to go see if there’s things I missed that aren’t in that place now.
EDIT: Thank god for side-quests.
Hmm, I went the route with sharing with Clara and I didn’t encounter this bug. Perhaps you are onto something with the decision affecting the scene replaying - can anyone else confirm?
That was a bug I left in the 102 version, should he fixed in 103. But that should be the only bug about that scene, first time it plays normal. There actually isnt anything left to do there, so not end of the world besides the real big annoyance it crashes the game.
I enjoyed this game a lot and love the characters style and look but I keep getting a load error when I use girthquake or what ever that spell is called but it stops after reloading
We’re talking about the Big Slime boss you run into after leaving the goblin town, right? My Emmie doesn’t have Belch or Holy Fire. She just has Heal, Revive, Digest, Digest+, Sugar Rush, and Devour, and none of those seem to do much for me. Have I just missed something?
a lot actually heal + was after belch and holy fire did you talk to people
Hi Zen, apologies. I accidentally left out a soundfile in the game that girthquake uses. This means when the game tries to run the move it crashes . For the time being try not to use it before I release another patch. I am sorry!
@nianianaiya Ah, can you use devour to damage the big slime? There is belch and holy fire, but they are technically missable. Belch can be learned from the girl at the bar if you picked one “bad girl” option and Holy Fire you get from the pond with the fairy between the docks and the snow town Bierbrunnan. Same as inner fire, look for ponds and their fairies!
That being said, if you are in the mountain you can’t go back at the moment, so can you use devour to damage it?
Heh, an interesting predicament - an Emmie without offensive skills!
Devour does 0 damage, unfortunately, so unless you don’t actually need to deal damage to trigger the split, I may have to see where my less recent save left me. (Not the end of the world if it’s super far back, this is a little ways in but it’s not awful.)
But yeah, I’ve been picking bad girl options as I’ve seen them and apparently completely missed Belch and the ponds! Must’ve been zooming through too fast, whoops.
i just attacked i thought it did little damge if you wanted you could use i file editor and up the damge might help just rest your stats back when done
There is also inner strength inbetween the first town and the second. That’s another pond skill. It’s pretty key. I might make these non optional if people are missing them…
Certainly the first pond could be non-optional, then allow the player to explore and find the others.
Maybe the first fairy pond is actually on the path itself, with a bridge or stepping stones spanning it, so players will automatically trigger the fairy scene when crossing.
