Pleasing your fanbase is important, but also doing what you love is more. Don’t sweat it too much, I rather see you work on the combat balance and UI far more than you wracking your brain on writing scenes you don’t have the heart for. I’m just being candid about how I feel as I wait for the next update, cause I really do like the writing.
Trust me when I say that in terms of RPG Maker fetish games, yours is one of my favorites. And its not because many has traumatized me with awful design decisions…
1v1 final boss fights where all your magic is worse than the standard attack… urgh…
Truth be told, i’m mostly a WG type person myself, but at this point I immediately play new Some Bullshit updates because I love the writing and characters at this point. Any stuffing/wg/fat-of-she content has kinda left my mind for the most part, because I just enjoy playing the actual game. It’s one of very few games that I don’t just immediately save edit shit, because it’s just plain enjoyable. I really hope you don’t feel super pressured to put more in, I hate the idea of making someone write/do something they don’t particularly enjoy just because there’s a demand for it when it’s a passion project. Regardless, love your game, and hope both yourself, and development are doing well!
For me at least, it’s more about seeing some progression and permanence, so even if I do like a good bit of chub, seeing Emmie’s capacity constantly increase and her reaching a new stage of bloat every once in a while is nearly as good and clearly more in line with your interests. Little things like a fourth temporary weight stage being added in the recent update and occasionally having her move slower are gold just because of the gradient from how she was at the start of the journey.
I think the bulk of your fans’ll be pleased as long as the intensity of the shenanigans the girls get into keeps increasing, even if extremely gradually. Not that your primary purpose for making the project should be “to please the bulk of your fans”, of course, because that’s a quick way to diverge from what allows you to enjoy what you’re creating.
I’m gonna be 100% here: I’m not even into stuffing in the least, and yet this is one of the best games I’ve played. I’m lowkey kinda mad I’m gonna have to justify putting a character from a porn game (Pro) in my favorite characters of all time list, alongside folks like Nogi Sonoko and Dave Strider.
And as someone who’s not into stuffing but does like WG: Don’t force yourself to put it in if you don’t want it, chief. Just keep doing what you’re doing, and I’ll be eagerly awaiting future updates. Already have 26 hours in, and planning on doing a second playthrough just to see it all again and try out the Purity route.
However, if you do want to have some WG content, but are just worried because it not being your kink means you don’t quite know how to write it, I’d be willing to point you to some WG stories and games, to give an idea, as well as suggest stuff as a WG writer myself. But that’s just an in case that’s what you want thing, I don’t want to sound pushy or anything.
So, yeah. Absolutely amazing game, can’t wait for more of it! You’ve got something special going here.
I use xbox controllers all the time, and never needed an adapter(Unless you’re talking OG Xbox, before even 360, but that’d be crazy, those are ancient artifacts by now).
Man the writing in this game is so perfect and amusing as funk, just love Emmie. Now I wonder if ETV would break the forth wall at all or someone else. And will we ever see a GTV or will ETV ever get a body of their own I know they look feminine but are actually male so many questions to ask.
She does explicitly go “…What, did you expect me to be a guy just because I’m evil? Why do you think I wanted a female host? I’m a woman. I didn’t call myself Empress when I ruled the world for nothing.”
Hello, I’ve been playing the game on recommendation of someone else. I really like it, other than the screen not updating sometimes so I can’t see what I am doing (the game itself still works fine, so not difficult to save and restart when it happens). I am using ver.106.
However, I have gotten stuck here in the sewer. It seems in an older version, this was caused from an enemy lying in front of you, but here I can’t go in any direction period. I tried switching party order around, but nothing changed. I suppose I could just use save editing to change position, but I don’t know where that is stored. I tried changing a variable that sounded like it was the “cleared this spot of bandits” variable to see if it would reset the area, but that did not fix anything. Any help?
Ah yes, there is a knocked out guard standing right where Emmie’s sprite is in your screenshot. That combined with the table above you means you are stuck. If you saved there, you will need to go to a previous save, no way around it. I’ve since fixed it so it isn’t possible to do it again, but right now you are
stuck. If you have absolutely no saves before this fight, send me a save file and I can edit it.
