i can’t get it to work
Part of me is tempted to make my own. One problem I have is that the sprites in the two hacks feel a bit disproportionate, and I’d like to see one with less blobbish and more proportionate sprites.

would it be against the rules of the site to post a updated version of the rom in this thread that where i made more sprites?
You can post a patch file for it, not the full ROM file.

I am not an artist but I can think of ways on how to fatten most of these pokemon
Mankey, I think it would be funny if its fur was puffed up making it look round, its limbs chubbier
Primape, it looses muscle definition, and maybe instead of an angry face, it looks happy
Jigglypuff, its already round, what if it looked more flabby on top of its round form
Golbat, its body is extended with a sagging belly that almost touches the ground
Oddish, again just make the round body flabby
Paras/ parasect, maybe rather than the mushrooms feeding off of paras, its been filling it, so as a paras, its got a noticably stuffed belly, Parasect, the mushroom has grown, so Parasect has become round
Venonat, belly that is so large it touches the ground
Diglett/ dugtrio, the mole so flabby it looks like its stuck in the ground
Poliwag line, again big and round so make it flabby,
Abra line, its humanoid, so big flabby body
Machop line, Sumo
Bellsprout line, for bellsprout, instead of stick thin, its limbs are all branch thickness, for weepinbell, pitcher plant got so flabby the bottom sags on the ground, same with victoreebell
Tentacool line, rounded upper, tentacils thicker
Geodude line, make it round and smooth, graveller sagging belly, golem, its body is compressed under the shell, but the belly had burst through the front
Magnemite line, the body has gotten flabby to where the magnets have sunk into the ‘skin?’
Doduo line, round bird with thick necks, Dotrio, same but the heads are fighting against one holding food
Seel, its lifted up by a large belly
Grimer/muk, make it look bloated from too mucj grime
Ghastly, fat face
Haunter, belly hanging
Onix, smooth rocks, body stays same thickness all throughout
Krabby line, limbs thick, body looks like its baout to break shell
Voltorb line, flabby face, fat sags on ground
Eggcecute, flabby eggs, executor, round tree, faces all flabby
Koffing line, fat faces
Tangela, tendrils thicker, squinty eyes
Goldeen line, fat fish, body just round
Staryu line, there is something called a bloated star, where the spokes of the star is high, could use that for staryu
Scyther, bloated abdomin, scythes become rounded
Jynx, without sounded racist, giant ass
Pinser, pincers are rounded and flabby, flabby face
Magikarp line, fat fish, serpentine body same thickness all throughout
Ditto, blob, protruding belly
Porygon, belly reaching the ground
Kabuto flabby shell, kabutops, similar to scyther
Omanyte line, body looking like it can barely fit in shell

Also are there plans to add in gen 2 and 3 pokemon? For after you acquire the national pokedex?
Not neccissarily all of them, but evolutions that are unlocked post game
Not really. I might at one point but my next project after this is to go and edit all of the emerald sprites on the emerald rom. Including national dex
Thats fair, I was just saying because thats the onoy reason why I decided not to go with the Zubat line
