Here is my contribution to this year’s jam. It’s a relatively short RPG Maker game where you make the numbers and bellies bigger by grabbing sweet loot in a dungeon. Features art and animations made in Koikatsu.
Jam Details
Attempts to use the theme Greed.
Attempts to use all three wildcards: New Game +, Progress Through Failure, and Minions.
Update 1
Revive now correctly targets downed allies.
Player characters should now have different display names.
Added descriptions to items missing them.
Yeah, I just came here to say the same thing. That fact plus all the playable characters and bosses having the same name just lead me to goozle myself pretty hilariously.
Hey! Enjoying the game so far - it’s been pretty fun to play through for the bad ends and progression, along with Elise figuring out some things. The cut scene at (what I assume is) the final Elise to fight stops and locks the game before it completes. The wisps bad end does not though.
The story was short and sweet, with a very nice variety in “Bad Endings”. The use of 3D Models in a normally 2D game was a nice touch and very well executed in my opinion. It was a very fun time!
