EDIT: Turns out that happens if you use an old save.
We should be sure to always try again on a fresh save to make sure it’s a repeatable issue.
Honestly, I find the slime scaling to be VERY imbalanced.
I seriously can’t make a single bit of progress without a wave of slimes coming in and destroying everything.
It is best to have the defenses further away from the slime spawn point so that the slimes disperse first and also give the defenses time to attack.
Put barriers in front of turrets, not the other way around. It’s not made very clear, but turrets can cover an area 2 or 3 tiles in each direction.
Tauma has a faster build speed, Dax has a a more powerful drone so more damage and more resources from manual mining.
Minor update, some polish and a couple bug fixes.
I think there might a problem with the new elevator failsafe mechanism. It seems like if you’re standing on the elevator when it loses power, you get frozen in place. And, more annoyingly, this also happens if you build the elevator first, before building an attached power source.
Saving and reloading didn’t help, nor did venting energy. The only way out that I found was to destroy the elevator.

Alrighty, some tweaks to the defensive buildings to give them more defined roles, as well as a couple backend things.
@Chubberdy It would be great if we could build multiple platforms at once i.e. go to the build menu>choose platform>place multiple ones until you run out of required resources
@Chubberdy Is it possible to upgrade the buildings without destroying them like in spacethumper 1?
@Chubberdy has the logic of the teleporter changed I’m unable to escape the cave despite building the teleporter hub.

You have to help both your crewmates before teleporting out (e.g. talking to them)

@Chubberdy I noticed a bug where instead of losing efficiency, the wind turbine Mk. 2 gains an extra 1 energy/sec when covered
I would also like to see (if possible) more audio sliders in the settings menu. specifically for the UI sounds and the machine noises. It’s a little annoying to have to have those things unchangeable while other ambient sounds, although customizable, are grouped under the “sounds” setting which changes the sound level for ALL sounds.
Also, is there a way to change the sprites for the characters like there is for the first game yet, or would that have to wait until the game is complete?

P.s: I was going to say that the enemy spawn rates in the cave are SUPER imbalanced, however, once I came up with a better strategy (i.e. not spawn-camping the enemies), it was perfectly fine. However, I did notice that the slime nest near the top of the cave rarely ever spawns anything. In the 2 hours I spent in the cave, it only spawned one wave of slimes.
Now that I think about it, I think this game should have the furry tag just like the first game, this one has even more furry designs too.
