I was able to serve up the premade burger immediately without backing out.
I’m guessing…

Weird, I suppose I accidentally hit the bell twice the single time I tested and didn’t think to do it again, it seems to work just fine as you stated.
While I’m here, might as well also mention that you can drag ingredients through each other if you hold by their center and drag hard enough. It could be useful for building burgers even if you don’t have all ingredients ready in order but I found the physics make it easy to accidentally mess everything up so I don’t usually go for it.
Name guesses are pretty much the same as yours, too.
I practiced the game to point can consistently total s rank without exploits.
It feels like when you stack the correct ingredients in the correct order, both speed and neatly stacked is important. I’ve gotten C on meticulously perfectly stacked burgers, and S on decent stacked but quick burgers.
Here are some bugs I noticed:
I really liked the game (my favorite of all the ones I have played so far by a lot), it is both fun and funny to make the burgers. most of the time I feel like these types of games don’t really hold up when you get use to the initial joke.
the scoring system could have been made more clear and I wish I could get an actual number rather than just a letter grade. it wasn’t clear to me in the beginning that time gave a good score (especially since the customers always wait for the one before them to get their burger before ordering) and I don’t really know how nicely stacked a burger must be to give a good score.
I assume this was a deliberate design decision but I don’t like that I can’t really tell where I’m grabbing because of the cursors design. I would have preferred that it was more clear (like a dot where the cursor clicks) and the game was made a bit harder to compensate (so the overall difficulty is about the same). maybe I’m just to sweaty of a tryhard tho
also if you play in a lower res then the cursor stays the same res so it gets bigger compared to everything else
I feel like the orders having to be memorized wasn’t completely thought out. you have to remember what the burger was but you can just check what it was and you don’t lose like any time as long as you keep everything on the plate. I feel like it would have been better if the order was somewhere in the kitchen or if you come back out the order is hidden so you have to remember it. right now it is in a bit of an awkward in between where it makes the player remember but don’t really punish them for forgetting so it becomes a bit of a chore rather than an actual challenge
I’m not a fan of the zero gravity stage, if I would get a good score or not felt more like it depended on the ingredients not drifting away or staying put. since the ingredients are springy you can’t just smuch them together and there is no drag/air friction so they tend to slide around a lot. it was the only stage I felt like I couldn’t get a consistent S on so I just did the first ingredient exploit (I first thought it was an intentional dev cheat before reading about it here). if there was just a little bit of gravity (like 1% or something like that) I think it could work
I’m also not a fan of the flashlight stage. it is fine for difficulty, I just don’t think it is fun to not see anything (I don’t think I have ever played a game where they turn off the lights as a challenge and I thought it was fun)
the bun/plate placement is a bit annoying. even if you grab your buns before assembling the burger you can still accidentally grab one through the burger
I would hope that an updated version has some challenge mode since after getting the S rank ending there isn’t that much of a reason to play anymore (I guess getting S in no gravity is left). like just a hard mode where the score requirements are about the same but you have to make burgers that are about 2x the ingredients (or just 2 burgers). though I feel like a type of “endless” mode where you would have to make as many burgers as possible within a “life bar” that goes down with time and non-perfect burgers would fit better
I look forward to try the updated version. I hope there are a lot of stuff you want to do with the game because I want an excuse to play it more :P
