Starbound Mod: Starpounds Big Fatties

fucking thank you good sir, i will use this in MOST kind

could you also add minor installation instructions?
im a little confused sorry
winRAR’s being a bitch

First, I’d recommend to use 7zip instead of WinRAR. Second, the folder you find at the root of the compressed archive is the whole mod, you just take that whole folder into your mods directory. Third, going by the date this has been posted, it is likely outdated, but I am not certain about it so I’d say you can give it a try.

Anything you make just makes me happy, is this like a thing your planning to make as add-on for this mod? and if so is it still a work in progress?

LittleVulpine is the coder for the mod, since I mostly do sprites. Everything they’ve shown has been snippets for the upcoming update.

Whenever I use certain itmes from extensions to this mod, my character’s armor will break, resulting in the armor being stuck in the current weight stage or is unable to be removed or fixed, that I know of. Is there anyway to fix this?

I know people generally don’t tend to upload this kind of content to places like YouTube, but there wouldn’t happen to be someone who records and uploads reviews of the new content for this mod whenever it gets made, would there?

I’d love to be able to watch videos about new things added to the mod whenever an update is released, and, while I hope this doesn’t come out wrong, I really can’t be bothered scrolling back up the 2610 comments on this post to see if anything new has been announced or released and what’s been added.

While I am unsure of the specifics at this time as I’m currently just concerned about getting more sprites done. I did want to do some kind of video. Though it’s mostly meant as a basic guide to the mod rather then an update on everything new. There will be a patch notes of sorts with everything. Which will include notes on the reworked sprites, additional variations of busty and stuffed sprites. The new hub for the stores, the new races in the Throgs and Mootant hybrids. The various new enemy types. etc.

Oh, I wasn’t suggesting or expecting you to do it since you’re busy with the mod and all, I was wondering if there was any fan known among the community who did anything like that.

Still, that’ll be great. Can’t wait to see what’s to come with this mod.

I am not sure of the specifics but I just did a quick search for Starbound Big Fatties Mod in Google and then went to videos and there were a few, one looked like it was pretty long too and some were listed as episodes.

Not really sure where to go for this but I found out something important y’all should know. If you use this mod Steam Workshop::Spawnable Item Pack it makes your game freeze up completely when putting on clothes with the bf menu. When I removed it from my game it fixed the lag softlock I had on my main file. Just thought I should report that. (Current bf version I’m using is the public version not the WIP version.)

i have the spawnable item pack and it doesn’t do anything to my game. I have a crappy 300 dollar pc and can run 22 mods perfectly fine. minus Mod Fatties races mod for some reason, maybe check your mods? iunno.

Yeah, it doesn’t crash for me either with SIP. Granted, I haven’t tried to wear spawned-in clothes yet.

It wasn’t a crash, it was more lag so intense I couldn’t do anything (hence why I said softlock). After I removed it it worked perfectly fine too

I have SIP and I do not have this issue either. There must be some third party that’s responsible for them being incompatible.

I also run SIP and have 0 issues, while I’m here does anyone know if literally anyone is working on race support mods anymore? There’s literally two races I need in a mod and one isn’t sprited right and the other just doesn’t work at all with the current iteration of said mod. If anyone could point me in the right direction here I’d appreciate it.

oh, i’ll be dammed that their the coder of the mod itself
