Starbound Mod: Starpounds Big Fatties

For things that actually show up in the mod and not from outside sources as people aren’t clarifying where those even come from.
The mining facility boss can fatten with its lasers. And the Erchius Ghost that shows up on moons is capable of fattening if you’re within range.

Erchius fluid can fatten the player too right?

The question was about enemies that fatten.

If you stand in it then yes. Erchius ghost also fattens you up quicker the more fuel you have gathered in your inventory.

Do you know how do I grow with the clothing I wanted?

It automatically handles it, you place the vanity clothes you want in the BF menu, compatible items will upscale

Hey just wanted to come to ask for help with something that I’m having troubles.

So I’m playing as female Avian, the quickbar addon doesn’t work. Everytime I turn it on, it doesn’t show me the setting or scan of female Avain body, it just shows nothing.

I also can even get to the vore part. I tried to redownload the mod but it still doesn’t work.

Click the Disabled button on the menu with the Avian portrait. For the Vore part of the mod, click the red square on the bottom right part of the mod, and then click the Disabled button on the menu that appears.

Umm about that I did that before I reinstalled after I deleted everything on my computer.

I click the button and nothing happens, I could try to skip the radical into but it seemed to work with the radical into before.

I already know how to turn on but it’s that it’s not working.

Edit: Made a video showing what I’m talking about

I know it’s abit mad quality but I made it just to show what I was talking about.

You’re likely just gonna need to load a character without the mods for a bit then try putting them back in. As I’m unsure of what you’ve done.

When I grew the clothes is gone, what do I do?

so! did you put it in the little boxes in the bigfatties window? there should be two boxes there, one with a shirt, one with pants, you put the shirt and pants in there, if they still vanish, they arent compatable and you need different ones

This is an answer i’ve been looking for, Thank you so much. Also thank you other for trying to help me too. ^^

I found the problem!

Okay it’s the Starbound Vore Mod…maybe well I took the content from the “mod” inside of the main StarboundSimblevore folder and then I put them inside of Starbound’s mod folder.

It seemed to work with Big Fatties before but maybe something in a new update or something Idk.

Update: I just downloaded the wrong version of the vore mod, sorry for wasting your time.

I have a question about the “NPC Compatible” objects in this Mod.
So earlier I was trying out the “NPC Compatible” version of the Feeding Tube, and when the NPCs used the Feeding Tube, it showed them standing on the stool, with the hose in their mouth (As it probably should be), but it didn’t fatten them; it only fattened my character instead, despite the fact that she wasn’t interacting with the Object, or any other Objects for that matter. I’m not exactly sure if this is an issue that is only occurring for the Chocolate version, since I wasn’t able to get the NPCs to use the Lard/Milk version. It wasn’t a glitch on that part, they just didn’t want to interact with it, and I was low on time. I also apologize if I’m not being specific enough; I’m not the best at explaining these sorts of things, especially since I’m still new to both Starbound and this Mod.

How bizarre, I’ve seen this problem mentioned many times but even now, as I attempt to replicate it myself, I don’t gain the weight in the place of the NPC using the feeding tube – either your version is out of date and doesn’t have the fix if there was one made in a recent version, or something in my mod setup prevents it from happening.

For the NPC themselves not gaining weight though, it seems like as long as you shoot them at least once with a lard gun, they should gain weight normally upon the next time they use the tube or any other fattening furniture.

Also, as for your question over on the ModFatties thread, I’m pretty sure the “Storage” variant of the feeding tube is merely intended for decoration purposes, much like many of the furniture in the main BigFatties mod itself – just a fun little thing to place wherever you’d like~

Yeah, I’m not really sure. I haven’t even been able to get the NPCs to use the Feeding Tubes recently, and when I had the issue before, the only Mod I had installed was the Big Fatties Mod, which I downloaded about a week ago. I’ll check later and see if the same issue occurs.
Also, on the subject of the Mod Fatties question, I suppose you’re right. Perhaps it’ll have some use in a possible future update. Until then, I’ll probably end up doing something silly with it. Thanks, by the way!

NPCs are generally kinda picky about actually using furniture that are considered usable to them; sometimes they’ll walk right up to something far away and use it and other times they’d rather just stand next to it and stare instead, no real way to work around it without a behavior-altering mod (or something similar) unfortunately. You’re welcome all the same, though!

Slight issue with the color for the blob avali. The color for the arm on the crouch is off so it displays only a teal color.

quick fix for this is awkward but simple, get your hands on a gun that gives a fattening effect (lard launcher, fat rifle or shake gun) and use it once on your chosen NPC, they should then receive the effects from the mod’s furniture.
