There’s a lot of text adventure games and I feel like it should have it’s own category because it has a lot of games on projects. It would be nice if you would make this an actual thing!

Just search the tag text-adventure , they’re still games so there’s no need to separate them like we did with the chatbots. The reason there’s so many is because they’re the easiest kind of game to make, and in a forum full of novice devs, guess what a lot of them will gravitate towards?
Separating by genre would only harm discoverability anyway. Think of categories as broad strokes, while the tags are the finer details. Too many large splashes of colour and the picture becomes a confusing mess to decipher. The tags already serve their purpose of sorting by genre, there really isn’t any need to change that.
