I’m having some trouble with the very first quest, I have the lever and the crank, but I don’t know where to go from there. I’ve tried talking to both Thomas and Alaia.
“Use” both of them on Alaia.

How and where do I download Quest and isn’t that a VR thing?
The game started out at the Oasis rather than the cave entrance, and I only got to do the “beginning” of the game on my way out to the end. I had thought a few times that I was missing some context…

How do i use the scroll fragments? I have 3 of them but i cant seem to do anything with them. I also have the relief cream but im not sure what to use it for.
You need to have four scroll fragments and then speak to Noel. The relief cream is part of the cowgirl event but can be used on someone.
I used the relief cream but it hasn’t lead to anything in terms of the 4th scroll fragment. Ive collected the on from the bar, break room, and one that I cannot recall exactly as I did it 10 hours ago (I think it was the messy scroll room). Where is the fourth one?

Whenever I try to talk to Noel with all 4 scrolls in my inventory it still says Noel is preoccupied

That’s odd. When I go test it myself, it works just fine
I was able to ‘fix’ this by restarting, haha… It was probably because I only found the camel milk the first time, put it in, and left, then got it AGAIN and put it in again before finding the other two?
But, yeah! I got past that and, man. 10/10 game for sure.
