The Weight of Jane's Indulgence: A Visual Novel

Hey there! This is a small visual novel I put together in about five days—no joke.

I wanted to try out Ren’Py and see if I could actually make something with it. After spending time looking at other projects, I figured, why not make one myself? So here it is!

Hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think.

There are only 4 endings and there’s not really any other mechanics or additional features (for now :eyes:)

Well it is a petty quick but i have to said this is a good start, I did not run in to any bugs it just needs some more filler to fill out the day like going to the market or something to break the flow of the game but I still have to say I do like this is a good place to build off and make a fuller game.

I’ll definitely have to give this a look later, interested.

MEGA is down for me, is there a backup link?

Lovely little game. Looking forward to what you do in the future!

would there be an ending where jane got pregnant

I really like the art, Jane’s look and design throughout the weight gain stages is great. Nice and simple game, gotta see the other three endings.

A great demo! I think some shading (pastel?) would really take it up a notch.

Nice, the art is very expressive and cute. I hope you had fun learning Ren’Py.

The cats jumpscared me when my browser opened lmao

Nice! A fun little distraction. I love the art, and the simple almost-but-not-quite-a-puzzle gameplay was enough for the time it takes to find the four distinct endings. I would recommend it!

Short, but very sweet. Your art is very good.

Does anyone know why the joi play doesn’t work I have all the renpy extensions

Very nice art, felt like it didn’t suffer as much from that “floaty” feel some other art has where the character looks large but is standing as if they aren’t. Hope to see more from you!
