I’ll be honest I’ve literally never had the game end at the breakup and I’m not sure where people are finding these problems. It fascinates me honestly because the game has always seemed enjoyably easy and a breeze to progress through. Just making sure I’ve got enough money for the week to avoid her paying for anything and then just being a genuine and nice person to Alice; take her out somewhere every day, make sure you hit the beach on the weekend, invite her to the cinema when she sounds excited to do it, invite her home every day around 8-10 pm, try and cook something for her (basic at first, and then nice when I’m good at cooking) always ask her if she wants more but make sure you’re considerate of her desires and complimentary of her no matter what. When she brings up that you’ve been intentionally fattening her up, I honestly can’t see any reason to choose any option other than being honest and upfront with her about it (basic relationship stuff, you know).
I think the big tool that helps me make sure the relationship goes well is the fact that Renpy comes with a convenient ‘Back’ button so you can gauge how she reacts to something and make a different choice if it looks like she doesn’t like the answer you gave.That and you can constantly give her a small relationship boost by just calling her to compliment her every day.
