yeah thats true, also im guessing you won’t be posting v0.8 and onwards here until the game is fully finished

Tiggertoo has stated when they started work back up that they are working at a slow manageable pace and won’t likely put out anymore public version until the game is done.

Perhaps do those weight gain images when the game is completed, Kinda like a reward, so after you finish the game, those images will become unlocked and you can view them, so there won’t be any spoilers since you experienced it, that way you know in a second playthrough which weight triggers a new stage etc etc. Its not something you’d HAVE to do. But I think it would be a fun little thing to do.

I was also wondering if you were going to make the final size that will be possible playable? I don’t know if it has been asked before, but usually these updates you did ended with Alice entering a new weight stage, but there was no gameplay with that size until the next version, a great way to tease the next size imo!

But since you decided to not do updates anymore, got me wondering if you’d do like a final scene that (same as with updates) will tell you that you are done, but as a reward for playing the game, you can still play the game with Alice her final size, it would keep people playing a bit longer after finishing the story, just to see the new work, cinema, bowling etc scene’s with her final size.

I understand if thats not something you’d do since it would take alot of work rendering new scene’s that some people will never see since they might close the game as soon as they are finished.

Its just that the way you teased a new size at the end of an update always got me excited to see all the new scene’s with that size! It worked so well!

I was originally against this idea because it would be all the work of a new size and so might as well be a full fledged update. But I’ve thought about it more, now that the game won’t have any updates or teasers. I think you’re 100% right.

However I’d phrase it differently, the final scene could simply not be a full fledged new size. Why? Wouldn’t this ruin the ending? Nope, not really. Why? tiggertoo has said before that he’s going to soon run into the upper limits of what he can do with morphs before he becomes fully lodged in the uncanny valley. What does that mean? Well eventually alice is going to reach the maximum size tiggertoo thinks looks good in all his various scenes. So he’ll make those renders. Then he’ll be stuck.

Sure your suggestion slash my rephrasing of it is going to make the epilogue event ‘worse’. The thing is though, I’m not sure tiggertoo can avoid that problem. The only way to have a full epic (new size) event with alice at maximum size is to make it so the game has 1 less size in it to play through.

Of course there’s also far less need to have an exciting epilogue teaser if there’s no future update, and no need to leave things on a cliffhanger.

So, yeah, I actually see tiggertoo doing what you say justchris, even if unintentionally, I think tiggertoo might actually be forced to take your suggestion. The only point I differ on, is, instead of having a size to play around with in the epilogue, just don’t create a new size for the epilogue at all. Without the new size teaser, no size is “wasted” as being purely a teaser.

Essentially alice is going to reach I dunno size 8or9or10 or whatnot and there’s going to be an ending, and a final scene, but instead of the final scene being at a new size. It’ll just take place without a new size up (because the entire gameplay section will have just taken place at the size tiggertoo thinks is the biggest one he can make.)

Perhaps the final epilogue could be “…and they all lived happily ever after!” ? Like a kid’s story book!

I hear you! But since the story is all about weight gain, I think it would only make sense if the game ends with the final size, (That tigger thinks still looks good) so since its not a teaser for the next update, because the game will be finished, I’d love to just play around with it after the story is finished, I personally wouldn’t even care if the dialogue is unchanged post story, would just be fun to view all scene’s in Alice her final size

Ofcourse if the story continue’s after Alice has reached her final size and the focus shifts to getting the other characters to their final size, then there would be no need for post game scenes. Since we would have all viewed the scenes at her final size anyway.

All I’m saying is, I would love that IF the game ENDS with Alice reaching her final size, Would be fun to see that size in all the scene’s too. Just a fun extra without any new story content since the story has ended.

The final size being playable in your version with how you are envisioning it. Would mean new renders at that size with no updated dialogue. And the dialogue is not the time consuming bits to develop. It wouldn’t really make sense in my opinion for tiggrtoo to develop that way as it would basically be an unfinished weight gain stage that had an ending to the game right before it became playable.

Yeah, these aren’t sprites in scenes. Every image is unique. So just seeing alice’s new size in every scene, is essentially just as much as work as remaking every scene…

I do have the end scene already planned out, or at least roughed out, seeing as I prefer to just note down ideas and then flesh them out when I actually sit down to create the scene.

Fair way to go before then, though!

As for the final sizes, that will indeed be limited by how large I can get the models looking without them being TOO unrealistic. The model for Alice is already creaking at the seams a little at the current largest size. Lots of poses and quite a few clothing items simply don’t work at that size. Possibly not entirely Daz studio’s fault as the Alice model is Genesis three converted to Genesis 8, so probably doesn’t quite conform as well as a native Genesis 8 model would.

Will Alice be larger still just in the very final scene? Or for playable scenes beforehand? You’ll have to wait and see insert evil emoji here :stuck_out_tongue:

sidenote I did briefly consider going back to the start of the game and rerendering every scene with Alice remodeled as a native G8 figure, but quickly decided against it. Partly because most people who’ve played the game seem to like how she looks and I don’t want to change her appearance, but mostly because it would take months to redo all the existing images, and then months more to render them.

@Schattenjaeger That sounds like the digital equivalent of a button on the wall with a big red sign next to it saying ‘do not press’…

Just had an idea for the actual end of the game - it has to come to a halt at some point. How about Alice getting nominated to appear in Miss Voluptua beauty competition? The final scene of all could be the crowning of her as Miss Voluptua International 2024, or whenever Tigger gets to the end. Maybe Becca or someone could be runner up? Probably far too much work…

Yeah like I said before, I understand that rendering all those scenes after the story is finished is alot of work for basically nothing since the story does not continue so I would totally understand if he wouldn’t do that.

I would just like the final size to be playable, because if not, you’d spent all this time fattening her up, and won’t get to enjoy her final size! IF the game ends with her sizing up ofcourse, but we’ll have to weight and see! (I know what I did there I couldn’t help it!)

I saw your latest reply and rn i’m curious about the differences between genesis model versions… what are the main differences between current model and a newer version? How she looks? It’s more complicated to do some specific scenes with it? Or it will bring you more complications that you already have with alice current size?

Also i’ve been playing again and i found that bug about the missing button call, in my case it disappeared because i rushed hannah scenes while alice was in the smallest size

Biggest change is probably the update from T-pose to A-pose. Which, ya know, in theory at least, ruins every scene ever.

I don’t know if someone already mentioned this, but I noticed a bug where the option to call Alice stops showing up.

Thought I’d just ask if there’s actually any consequences to stuff like Kissing Hannah ir Becca. Since I did see this question being brought up, but that was a while back and things might’ve changed since then

Not currently, that could change in the future. Depends on what Tiggertoo does with the story.

Technically there are no negative consequences (which is something that had concerned me on my first play-through) to doing so. Personally, I would actually recommend doing it, as it gives bonus scenes with the characters. Spoiler warning: In fact, following those all the way through actually end up getting Alice to have whole scenes with those characters discussing gaining/feederism. It also makes the last scene of the current demo make more sense, because as far as I can tell it is exactly the same regardless if Alice has had those scenes with those characters or not.
