Yeah, it’s a bug. Definitely very rare, though. I’ve played through the early stages of the game literally hundreds of times and never been able to replicate it.
@jcjonesacp76 can you confirm what platform you’re playing the game on?

Windows 10 is the platform I play on
Thanks. I’ve got a theory that this bug is more common on mobile/tablet, but that’s obviously not the case here!
It’s bloody annoying not being able to replicate the bug. I did another two playthoughs of the first three stages of the game yesterday to check other stuff and yet again, I didn’t come across it. I’ve recoded huge parts of the game since the public version and I’m about 98% confident that the recoding has fixed it, but can’t be absolutely sure ![]()
I’m moderately sure it’s fixed in the recode.
Recode? What’s the recode?
0.7 was recoded or the code was redone and restructured. As well as new content being added to the internal non public build that is referred to as 0.8. This is why @tiggertoo had asked for volunteers to help test the build back in February of last year (this has since been done and closed.) 0.8 essentially is the game being reworked to make future additions to the game much easier and faster to implement. Since the game has changed in direction and scope from its first inception. 0.8 added in more content and was larger and longer than 0.7 but only made it up to the events of the break up scene (weight stage three.) That should tell you the amount of work that went into the recoding and restructuring as well as an idea of how much was added.
wow didn’t actually realise 0.8 was longer than 0.7 despite only going up to the breakup scene. That’s a hell of a lot of work. Fair play to Tiger.
There’s like a 600 image difference between 0.8 and 0.7 despite the difference in where the story ends. To be fair 0.7 has more images but 0.8 takes more time and has more content.
Still bodes really well for the finished product! The thought of redoing the whole thing when there was already so much content seems like a mammoth task let alone adding more content to it! Massive kudos!
One of my favorite games of all time, cannot wait for the continued story. Will be jumping on that patreon. Thanks!
It’s great to hear some feedback on v0.8 actually, I knew there was no new story content but I didn’t realise just how much has been added to existing parts! Very exciting ![]()
And as someone who appreciates & prefers the slow build up rather than a girl taking 2 days to get huge, it looks like you’ve definitely stuck with that approach so thank you!!
@namad Yeah, I’m all but sure it’s fixed. I’d just like to be certain ![]()
Recoding the game wasn’t something I wanted to do, but it was becoming more and more of a necessity. When I started work on this thing, I had no idea it would be anything like the size it is now.
When I first started, each location had one piece of code containing all the weight stages for each location - park, cafe, home etc. Which was fine to begin with, but when those pieces of code started becoming thousands (sometimes many thousands) of lines long, with constant jumping around within said pieces of code for each weight stage, it was turning into a total nightmare to keep track of everything, especially when debugging/testing.
So, I decided to restructure it. 90% of the locations now have one piece of code per weight stage. It took a hell of a lot of time and work, but it’s done now and everything is much MUCH easier to manage and keep track of
I now have hundreds of small sections of logically linked code, rather than a couple of dozen huge unwieldy files! It’s also much easier to add and track new stuff.
It’s still not ideal, but it’s as good as it’s going to get without rewriting everything from scratch!
So this recoded version fixed that bug?
I’m very hopeful that it’s fixed. My way of thinking is that the bug didn’t appear before 0.7, and I only played the early stages of 0.7 (where the bug occurs) perhaps 10 times during testing, so I wasn’t very likely to encounter it. I’ve played through 0.8 at least 50 times to test all the recoded stuff, and not encountered it. 0.8 has also been tested by a few people, who did a VERY thorough job, and they didn’t encounter it either. I’m now working on and testing 0.81 and still not come across it, so fingers crossed ![]()
In other news, the render queue that I set off on January 4th and has been running (bar the odd restart/windoze update) constantly since, is now down to the last seven renders! Although don’t get too excited - most of the images are re-renders of existing ones to make a certain character more consistent across the various scenes that she appears in… ![]()
Tigger’s gpu:
Jokes aside, we’re waiting for what’s coming next, take your time as much as you need for the game and i’m still gonna say good luck tigger, cuz those teasers are really tempting.
Now that’s a good movie! May have to watch it again at the weekend ![]()
And since when do I post teasers?
![]()
I’m definitely interested in this thing you never do.
You got me, i mean renders. Just for the sake of my meme my reply’s here.
The verisimilitude of this office is way higher than in the original game’s office renders. Thumbs up.
Gotta say Tigger
you are a very at keeping the thread interesting to follow, I didn’t even realize how long its been since the latest build dropped and I played it last on launch. and I miss the characters so much and feel like I’ve played it recently still, I’ve been checking in on this forum from time to time and you keep dropping teases at the right moment that keeps me coming back,
Never stopped looking forward to this game and never stopped supporting you. I can’t say it enough but really thank you for doing what do. After everything you didn’t have to finish this game. You didn’t even have to make this game. But you’re still going at it and I really appreciate it man.
