ok so I might have an idea on why that bug might occur. Like I said it happened to me both times around the 80 day mark. I think it might get triggered when you have gotten far into the game without making progress to the next WG stage.

The number of days that have passed really doesn’t matter. I deliberately made the game so that people could play at their own pace, whatever that may be. Although it is generally a slow-paced game, of course. Weight gain is a slow business after all, and I wanted to have at least one toe grounded in reality, speedwise.
As I’ve said, It’s a rare bug and I’ve never encountered it, but it does seem to occur round about the first weight stage kicking in. I’m not actively working on this version any more, so haven’t done much in the way of checking, but I suspect there’s an event check that isn’t properly monitored and if that event hasn’t triggered by the time the first weight stage arrives, it’s causing the glitch. Not sure if this is the case with @GingerAle , but it does seem to occur a lot more frequently if you’re trying to run the game on mobile for some reason.
With the recoding of 0.8 onwards, I’m 99.8% certain this will be fixed in future versions.

No I’m on windows, but as soon as I started following all the steps in the guide to progress through the WG stages I haven’t had the problem again so I’m not sure the cause of the bugs I had it it wasn’t a time limit thing.

Nope, as I said before, time has nothing to do with it. It seems to occur round about the first weight gain stage for Alice. The vast majority of people (myself included) have never encountered it.
The bug has happened to me a couple of times, it happens the first time Alice gains weight but you don’t go to your place to activate the scene in which she gains weight
@Jose.numa, @GingerAle and others: The root cause of the bug is already identified: It comes from an overly specified condition, and I’m 100% sure it has been squashed in @tiggertoo’s dev version. It’s exceptionally hard to reproduce, even if you know the exact condition you have to reach to trigger it, but obviously the game is deservedly popular and has had a lot of playthroughs, so it shows up now and again.
