I still haven’t decided on the final size for Alice. When I sit down to do test renders of her at a larger size, I tend to lose track of time and waste many hours tweaking little bits here, there and everywhere It’s way too easy to procrastinate!
However, she won’t be anything like the size of the picture posted by @gabriele.cerbaro. Partly due to the difficulties of using a model of that size, but mostly because she’s simply too big. I’m trying to keep at least one toe in the pool of realism here
A mobile version is a possibility. Renp’y does support produciing iOS and Android versions. I’ll have a look into this once the game is finished. There are a few buts, though…
I think a lot wil depend on whether it compresses the images. The current version (0.5) is just over 4GB and the final game is going to be considerably larger than that. I’m not sure whether enough people would want a game of that size to make it worthwhile, but we’ll see.
I’ve never owned an Apple phone (I’m forced to work with a Mac and it’s put me off all things Apple ), but I believe it’s quite hard to produce software for the iPhone without jumping through a load of legal hoops with Apple? Correct me if I’m wrong on that one!
The game is set up for 1920 x 1080 displays. Not sure how well that would work on a mobile with different screen ratios. I guess black bars at the side wouldn’t be the end of the world, though. Those of you with widescreen monitors will already be used to that.
Developing for Apple requires a rather expensive license that they would most likely immediately revoke because you tried to upload a fetish game to their app store. Its not worth the effort for the tiny percentage of people that it would reach even if the stars aligned.
As you may or may not know, the next version is going to concentrate on enhancing the existing game, rather than steaming ahead with more story. Although there will be some backstory added

While I was saddened to hear the free version releases would end I fully understand the reasoning behind it. Ill internet fight anyone who says it’s a selfish move.

Looking good, real good. Only thing that sucks about your game are the cliffhangers until next version (or the next of the next in this case) Anyways, dedicating a version to clean out the early and mid game seems like the absolute right thing to do. Are there any other ways of supporting you instead of the single tier on patreon?
Im playing V0.2 and my first game by day 35 or so I could always convince alice to eat extra food at the cafe and drink extra at the bar. My second and third playthroughs I couldnt even after day 50! Im curious what stat I was missing those other times. Do I need to flirt more, or go on less walks in the park? Or just ask her if she wants extra all the time? Cook for her less? Im curious if this changed in the newer versions too.
I did notice that I was more efficient this current run and I already got her to say “dont tempt me” early on in her second stage, but all I did differently this run was eat with her more after she exercised.
Also does exercise help you carry alice when she is 170+
The gameplay mechanic of Alice gaining is her mantra through the game: “I gain weight when I’m happy.” Chances are that you might not be doing enough to make Alice happy. Alice doesn’t gain happiness from eating, instead it’s the other way around. If you want Alice to be happy, try paying her compliments or doing more activities with her through the day.
Also, I believe carrying Alice is more to do with her weight than your fitness (tbh I don’t think fitness has been implemented too much into the core mechanics overall, you might just get a note to work out from feeling unfit, but not much more).
You were right, I backed off the amount of food based outings for a bit and she warmed up to more food pretty fast. I feel like I should have guessed given how often alice talks about it

@ChunkyFunky I’m constantly tweaking the variables in each new version. I was fairly happy with how they worked in 0.5, but that doesn’t mean I won’t make more changes.
@tacobitetoughguy, you’re (mostly) right about the player fitness. It doesn’t affect much, but it is taken into account for a few things.
I initially thought this would be quite a small update, but it’s shaping up to being another big one. I’ll be suprised if there are much less than 300 images.
Ah a double edged sword that one, haha. Glad you’re on the mend and excited to see what you’ve come up with. The scope of the game far exceeds what I expected when you announced it a year ago and I think it’s cool that everyone was down for you to comb back through and fill the game out, I think it will really help polish up what is already easily my favourite game in the genre.

I’m a long-time lurker on this site, and I genuinely have to say this is one of the best weight gain games I’ve seen in awhile. Keep up the great work dude!
@tiggertoo I’m having some trouble getting the last of Hannah’s scenes. I’ve got the prompt that I haven’t heard from her in a while, but despite seeing her in the bar render, I’ve yet to encounter her. Is it a time thing or just fulfilling the right criteria?
