Thoughts on a direct link to the wiki on the forum?

Since January is nearly done and the project category is still closed for the foreseeable future, could we have a direct link to the wiki so its a bit easier to access?

Currently the only fast way to get to the wiki from the forum is to find a thread that has a link to the wiki and use that, or to google for the wiki specifically, as the forum takes priority over it currently.

Maybe put it next to the patreon and discord links at the top left? I don’t know much about Discourse’s layouts but that would help keep the wiki more relevant and easier to access, even after the project threads are opened again.

I still feel like a button to the wiki like the ones for the discord, twitter and patreon would be nice. I don’t know about others but I never look in the categories tab because if I’m searching for something then I’m using the search function otherwise I browse latest (I set it as the startpage so I’m never in the categories tab ever)

The issue is its just hard to find a good place to link to the wiki on the forum due to how it is usually used and its layout. I could add a link in the top bar as suggested but 5 elements (The Nav Menu, Search, Patreon, Twitter, and Discord) is kind of the suggested max as it gets really crowded with the forum titles. Also on mobile only one can be displayed due to screen size limitations.

Also, being honest, with how many people tend to get surprised that we have a discord I dont think it is as visible as it may be thought.

The better location would be under the nav menu but I dont think a ton of people use that. The best solution would be to make a custom theme but I just dont have the time to focus on that over the main site. The desktop nav bar is a fly out that expands when hovered over but its hard for me to get a screenshot of lol

Once the main site comes out though the issue will be kind of fixed as I have a cleaner nav menu setup that is much easier to make a direct link to both the forums and the wiki on both desktop and mobile. While the wiki is missing this is what it looks like atm:
