Tired - A short and sweet twine adventure (to be expanded upon)

Hello! I have on here for quite a while and enjoyed many different games. I noticed I really enjoyed twine games so I decided to give making one a shot.

This is my first ever project, and I have minimal experience in coding so I hope all goes smooth. I appreciate any advice and tips related to the project!

A quick summery of the plot in its current state:

You awaken in a strange room. You have no idea how you got here - but it doesn’t seem all that bad at first. However, once you start to explore you quickly realize that whatever or whoever put you in this loop has very heavy intentions for you.

Very cool and interesting start you have here. I am excited to see where you may take this in the future with the whole looping idea. I would recommend moving from Harlowe to SugarCube before it is too late, just cause SugarCube has so much more in terms of options and modularity. If you ever have any questions about twine or anything, you can message me and I should be able to help

Ok I’ll take a look. I have already in the middle of an update so I might move it over after that. To be honest with you, I am not super comfortable with coding as stated above. So at the moment the more simplistic the better haha. Definitely might take you up on that offer once I am ready to move forward in that direction.

I will say that Harlowe is more beginner friendly. If you are wanting to do some fun and wacky stuff in the future, you may want to switch to sugarcube before it is too late or too tedious. If you are planning on keeping the game fairly small, then it would be up to just what you want and shouldn’t matter too much. I just like sugarcube and some of the other twine devs that I have talked to about harlowe have said that they wished that they had made their games in sugarcube to begin with

Cool start, I how it takes advantage of twines ability to naturally loop into itself. I’m also a fan of this format of looping narrative game where you get to explore different paths and gain new experience each time and slowly work toward a greater resolution. Interested to see how you flesh it out, good luck!

Here comes the nit-pick!
taught - what you are after someone teaches you
taut - what something is when it’s stretched full
tot - a small child, or a fluffiy potato-based snack
The belly was taught to keep food down by stuffing it taut with tots.

Also, as your eatas you eat
it’s limitits limit (“its” and “it’s” are the one exception to the “possessives get apostrophes, plurals don’t” rule)

Lol mb. I do know all these, was just writing quickly as this entire thing was made in a day and I was more focused on the coding aspect since that was what was new to me. Will work out all of the grammatical/spelling errors as I notice them.
