Having finally gotten around to this one, it certainly shows promise - a point-and-click / sort-of HOG is a nice refresher.
Will say I’m very glad the dev is looking at doing something with the camera: I played for about half an hour, and having taken an hour break and lunch, I’m still nauseous, which is a shame, because as said, this is promising.
I mean, there’s a good reason why. Unity is baked with spyware, especially when used under its ‘free’ license. It’s a problem that’s not likely to go away either, judging by their current trajectory…
the game looks amazing from the screenshots provided, but i still cant shake out that the game is put on an external installer and it made pretty much everyone’s antivirus scream. so all im asking is is there a way i could just make sure that the installer is safe.
There’s no problem with the file. Windows defender and windows security come prepackaged with windows OS. That is why you see multiple people making comments. That particular antivirus is known for having common false flags. That of course doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check the files you download, it is the internet after all.
You can run the file through VirusTotal and see for yourself that it’s safe. If the file wasn’t itch would have a warning/remove it. And it would also not be here.
well tried using bit defender and it said it was all good im just paranoid but how did you check the file on virustotal when virustotal only accepts files that are 650mbs or less?
I’ve installed and played it. Run it through my own antivirus scans (I’ve never liked windows defender myself.) The EXE and other associated files are less than the overall installer size. Which are able to be added into the free version of Virus Total without paying to remove the file size limits.
Also the particular file that has been linked as being flagged by the few people that have mentioned it. Is a common false flagged file as the game was made with the Unity Engine. Meaning it’s not specific to Trapped Together.
I enjoy this game, but it can be a real battle at times.
I know some gamers are all pissy about yellow paint, but this game could use a glowy yellow aura on plot progression interactions or something, like around the weights vs dumbells, or to point out laundry on the floor, or the fruit bowl.
I always tell Windows Defender to “keep anyway” the download file and create a folder to install it to before installing it and add that folder as an exclusion in the WD scan, so as to tell WD to not even scan anything in that folder when scanning, because f*** off WD.
This game has more than a few bugs which will need ironing out. There’s a lot of incorrectly-loading triggers for events, and this does soft and hard lock the game for players. While a fine proof-of-concept, these bugs need fixing, as does the over-fast scrolling speed for looking combined with the slow movement speed. I’ll admit I’ve made myself motion-sick playing this.
If anyone has a mouse that can change its sensitivity, I found setting it to 400dpi made the camera movement a lot more natural. It does make navigating the pause menu a pain, but I much prefer that over spinning around a dozen times with a simple wrist flick.
I personally didn’t find the events/progression problematic, but the mouse sensitivity was an issue for me. I also did get a bit of motion sickness, but I’m going to assume that’s mostly from the mouse sensitivity.
Otherwise, I felt that this was a very well designed part 1. I especially liked your idea for progressing the storylines - having the player check out different stuff to trigger the next events.
How can i make shakes for black girl? I tried visiting “garage/storage” multiple times and i tried to check everything here, especially area with gain shakes.
Yet i still can’t get this shake for her
I have a guide linked in the first post with pictures of where to get items. There are multiple times you make her shakes and there are multiple areas in the storage room that some of the boxes are listed with flavor text there. So, it’s hard to say if you are in the correct area’s but the items will be marked with text when you highlight over it. In this case “Gain-Shake Powder” for the first time is right by the entrance of the storage room on the right side shelf in front of the couch. You then go back to talk to Aysha and select “enjoy” to advance her path.
