A HUGE thanks to you @ZippZ for fixing the bugs and making a better version of the project! Honestly, I’m super thankful that anyone would care to play this update to my silly game, let alone fix the bugs that I couldn’t iron out myself.
There probably won’t be another update to this game from me and heading back to just do bug-fixes probably would bore me to tears. So I am super appreciative that you would take the time out of your day to make something I made better.
I feel a little bad asking this but could I use your demo and upload that as the final version on itchio? Of course I would credit you here and anywhere else you’d like to be linked to!
Ooh, feel free! I actually had a different version on the backburner that implemented a few of the things I left comments about (like modular weights via a big list; I implemented each weight stage you had setup in the ‘mirror’ passage. I got keyboard choice input working, too, but it was a bit hackey and I didn’t set up hooks for it throughout the entire story, just the first page). Regardless, the 0.2.2 version I uploaded still works fine. I left one typo for an ‘over ~250 lbs’ dialogue in the apartment complex, but that’s about it (it was a redundant //, IIRC).
Also; don’t feel bad about asking, I made the fixes with the full intent of them just being folded into whatever final version the game has. I don’t really have any social media persay, so you probably can just link to my weight gaming profile, or… I guess I have an FA/DA, but I never upload on those, and I doubt people’d want to be linked to an f-list profile instead. Either way, best of luck with anything else you work on, and thanks for providing a good excuse to read/learn some of a different Twine format, it’s been neat doing so.
