Trying to finish this Celeste skin mod I found

About half a year ago I have found a skin mod for Celeste on Gamebanana that turns Madeline into a supersized chonker.

The mod may be unfinished in a lot of places, but the parts that are there are pretty great: the animations really sell the softness and the weight of Madeline’s blubber (with the hypnotic belly sways in the ledge standing animation being a special standout for me), and the possible issues with the gargantuant sprites far outgrowing the player’s hitbox are just part of the charm for me.

The author said that they aren’t planning on finishing this mod any time soon,

So I’m bringing the forum’s attention to this mod in hopes to get it on the radar for someone with more artistic skill, drive, and free time than me to finish such a great mod.

Okay, so today I tried taking it upon myself to continue work on the mod, and even maganed to finish some new animations. Those being:

  • tired

  • kelper_touch

  • XaphanHelper_slopeSlide

    XaphanHelper_slopeSlide

  • and a bunch of emotes:

    • boomeline

    • tPose

Although, the rest of the animations might be beyond my art skills as far as I’m concerned, so I highly doubt I’ll be to do it all alone.

Did my first update for the mod. Adds the following:

  • all Theo Crystal related animations: pickUp, idle_carry, jump_carry, run_carry, throwtheo_anims

  • run_wind (it’s a little bugged with how the hair disappears on 11th frame; still don’t know how to fix this, offest metadata’s not missing, would appreciate advice)
