Finally decided to put work towards a game concept I had conceptualized a few years back. I dunno what to call it yet but I do have the concept thought out and some work already putting towards making this a reality. This is my legit first time doing this, so despite the simple-ish premise, it will take some time to do lol
The premise is you are working at a Restaurant, taking people’s orders and serving them the food they asked for.
Customers will ask for an order, the size of that order represented by a number of stars. You have the option of either Increasing or Decreasing their order or just accept the order as is.
Afterwards, you head to the kitchen and drop the order off. The head chef will take your order and deliver a meal, the size dependent on the order you gave in.
And from there the loop proceed. The customer will ask for more food, and you can either bill them then and there, ending the service or keep taking their orders and giving them more food. The more the customer eats, the more stuffed they get. Feed too much and Kaboom! You lost a table.
Each customer has a different stomach capacity, so you gotta be mindful of how full they look and whether to serve them again or cut them off. Increasing their order doubles the points you’ll receive, decreasing halves it, and giving a mint with their bill adds a few more points to the total. A kaboom loses all the points you’ve accumulated throughout the serving.
The idea is you got 5 tables to wait, each with a customer waiting to be served and you gotta serve them fast enough or they’ll leave and you lose the points. Try and make the quota and you succeed, don’t make it or lose all 5 tables and you lose.
Unsure if to make it an endless mode or a set number of trials to go through. Mostly leaning towards endless lmao

I do not want to admit how long it took me to get to this stage of development ha ha ha… i got a main menu, pause screen and options menu in a functional state…
Anyways, I will try have progress either monthly or bi-monthly, depending. I hope to have this game done by 2025. I will be slightly distraught if not but alas.

- Tutorial
- Cameo appearances of ocs from friends (and my own) as special customers (larger stomach capacity)
- Toggle for non-burst option (low priority but I will make an attempt)
- A suitable name for this game, god damn!
