-yes the art would be the biggest issue, but narugami did raise donations for the cost for it so that might be an option, I would ask vale-city to do the art again if I’m allowed to work on this project and that won’t be until he’s finished the art of narugami’s current project
-So I get the thought of why try to make direct sequel or a spiritual successor and not just my own game, that would be up to narugami allowing anyone to use this IP and being allowed to use his game as a base idea for one thing. But I found the concept of this game as really good and wanted to see more done with it, but with narugami moving on to a new project and kind of giving off the vibe of"he’s done with the game Vale City" he did write a nice end to his game that made it feel like a sequel was coming that would solve a lot of issues that players had with his game, that couldn’t be fixed at the time without having to remake his whole game from scratch.
-That new story is just my own thoughts, perhaps someone else might have a better idea to make not just a simple reskin of the first game. The yearly belly fight for mayor is such a simple but effective story hook for this kind of game. Again if anyone else has a different idea on how a sequel should be based on I’m all ears for it.
