I agree with you completely when it comes to weight gain going only to the parts that need it.
They are in hidden passages. If you check around the walls in the choco cave, some walls you can walk through. You’ll find the switches through those.
I have already played through the game once, and am willing to play it again. However, the grinding in this game is pretty rough, so I was wondering if there was a way to edit my save to add money or something like that. If anyone could give me any tips, that would be great.
Besides personal morals, getting it for free limits you to only obtaining one, while adding them to the shop lets you buy multiple. It’s not a good item though, hourly hunger and BP rates are irrelevant when they can be raised and lowered through battle much more efficiently. So while I personally gave the plans back to their rightful owner, it’s mechanically better to just get the free one
People have been trying to do that for a long time, if you read up a little ways. The game fights you tooth-and-nail on that (for some reason), and the last way to make it so you could edit the save someone figured out no longer works. The best you can get is editing the item file, so items do more and/or cost less. Another user shared a file with already-edited items before (the link still works), but it only edited a few (still very useful) items.
I gave it back to the thief, because she might be able to escape the apparently awful company with it, and I got a free useless item…so, yay? Thanks for the info.
Thank you. <3
Im unsure if anyone else has found out how to remove the anti-cheat before, (i am not digging through 367 messages -_-) but to remove the anti cheat just find the javascript file that has the name “------------” and yeet it so some hell in another file.
The .js file, in the www>js>plugins folder, that’s just dashes? That’s all that’s controlling the anti-cheat?
If anyone’s interested, I did find a pretty decent in-game data editor that someone made. It works pretty well with this game, except for adding armour through the menu, which tends to cause crashes.
I’ve made a zip file with the data editor files already made, so you can unzip it to the Vale City folder and get it working.
Let me know if any of this is not working/not permitted in the forum.
Edit: Deprecated link removed, see later post for updated version
So where exactly do you unlock the fusion ability? And where is the damned ribbon?
The fusion ability is unlocked by having all the characters wearing their personalised bikini sets, and having them all in Perfect Shape at the same time, then you’ll get a new skill available for use.
The ribbon is in the bathroom of the all-you-can-eat buffet building
Thanks. I didn’t even make that connection. And that bathroom was the one place i never thought to check.
So, anyone know what’s required to help the bartender? The party just sort of went ‘I have an idea, let me go fetch it’ without even hinting at it. Or, am I being dumb, and I just need to read the quest info in the menu (which I think you can do, but never tired…and which just came to me).
Also, deleting the “------------------” javascript file does stop the anti-cheat, but I wonder if it doesn’t break anything. I tried editing my save after removing it, but the edits just didn’t stick (in particular, I wanted to have a crapton of Ultimate pills, because…well, wow). Even if that form makes you slower (some in-game stuff seems to suggest that), I would probably pop them for every fight, and just deal with the handicap…
I believe you need:
1 Pizza
1 Ice cream
1 Chicken wings
1 Burger
1 Very strong hunger medication
I’m pretty sure that all of that is listed in the quest log, which is actually quite useful for tracking exactly what is needed for quests
Thank you. Guess it’s time to buy some chicken wings.
yep thats the one, when i saw it i thought “that is a weird file name, wonder what would happen if i put it somewhere else” LO AND BEHOLD it was the anticheat!
That file literally does nothing - you can open it up in a text editor and see that all six lines are commented out. It’s just used as a seperator when dealing with lists of plugins in the editor. If removing it broke the anitcheat, it’s only because the anticheat doesn’t function if it thinks something is missing… which seems to defeat the purpose, really.
Any idea if the fact it’s not removed, but not functioning, might have something to do with me apparently not being able to actually edit the saves?
I mean, the anti-cheat was designed to catch save-edits. So unless you totally remove it, I foresee issues.
Damn. I want my basically-constant Ultimate forms…
Maybe I’ll try picking through all the .js files, and see if I can find anything that might hint at it being the anti-cheat.
how do you get to the basement of F. Corp? or start the quest
